Layla's P.O.V.

"Layla?"she said barley loud enough for me to hear.

"Mom, this is Layla, the fan we were talking about."Ashton said.

She walked a few steps closer and looked me up and down. Her eyes had tears forming and I knew mine did too.She hugged me.

I wrapped my arms around her too as I let my tears fall.

"I'm sorry Layla.I'm so so sorry."she whispered.

"It's okay."I said.

"Wait, you know who I am?"she asked pulling away so she can see my face.

"Yeah, I found out just recently."I chuckled.wiping a tear away.

"I knew it was you when Ashton and Luke were talking about you." She smiled.

"What's going on? "Ashton asked.

"Does he know?"I said just loud enough for her to hear. She shook her head lightly.

"Ashton, we need to talk, but I need to talk to Layla first, alone."everyone in the room looked confused, and the three girls glared at me.

"Anne led me to the door she came from and into an empty room.I sat next to her on a black leather couch.

"I think I owe you an explaination."She said, and I nodded.

"First of I want to say I'm so so sorry.Letting you go was the hardest decision of my life. Your father left me and I couldn't care for you properly.I did what I thought was best for you, honey.You deserved better than what I could give you.I could barely care for Ashton.Then he came back and I had Lauren and Harry. I tried looking foryou but it was a closedcase. I'm sorry."by the end of her speach we were both in tears.

I missed out on so much time with my family.I was scared they didn't want me, but she tried looking for me.She actually loved me.She let me go, so I could have a better life.But really I just missed out on being with my true fa

One thing still went through my mind, how was Ashton and the rest of his, our, family going to respond to this?
