Layla's P.O.V.

I don't know how long I stayed sitting there once the video stopped. I just stared blankly at the screen.

"Hey, Layla are you okay?"my foster mother says snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, I'm fine."There was a moment of silence untill I found my voice again.

"What do you know about my biological family?"

"All I know is they gave you up for adoption before you turned one.Your birth name is Layla Marie Irwin.Your first set of foster parents changed your last name."she explained.

"I-I'm gonna go to my room." I say before running up the stairs. I grab my phone and googled the two names stuck in my head, hoping to get some sort of result, even though it was a long shot.

"Anne Irwin" I typed. A bunch of lawyers and things came up."any one of these could be my mother."I thought.After a bit I decided to type in Ashton and Anne Irwin.

I saw a twittername and a lot of things about something called 5 Seconds of Summer. I decided to click on the first article that popped up. There was a short story about a tour that the band was doing.At the bottom there was a picture with four boys.One of them looked like an older version of the little boy in the video.Same eyes, Same curly hair, and same dimples.I found his mother, who also looked similar to the woman.Is it possible that these two people are my biological family? What happened to my father? Why was I given up for adoption? Did they not want me? Do they even think of me anymore?
