Left Behind

"Hun, I know you miss Harry, but we really need to go." my dad knew how much I would miss him. He was my first friend. and deep inside I knew he would be my only one. but maybe that was my fate. to be a loner to be just by my own.

"I will never make a friend again." I crossed my arms angrily, and watched how my dad pulled up the driveway. I was in a hating period for my dad right now. he parted us, he made sure I wouldn't have a friend again.

"Would you like to meet your new neighbor." I shook my head stubbornly. how dare he, no one can replace harry, not on the way I met him

"No! no one can replace Harry." I cried out. why did my dad have to be a stupid dad, I really want to run away. the only reason I didn't ran away was because

"You want to call him, I saw a phone booth at the end of the road." I nodded happily, happy that I would hear Harry again. yay, I was going to hear his voice again, only the thought made me already happy.

"But after school, I think Harry has school too, love. I will drive you there quickly." He didn't let me step out, because he drove of again. my excitement died down as his woords hit me. A frown made it's way on my face. false hope is horrible.



"I let you on your own then." my dad said, as we finished our ride. I was in front of a big massive school. well for me, I have never been to a big school. not for big kids. my dad wanted me too so I agreed and entered this school.

"Thanks." I mumbled. Still angry I couldn't call Harry. who would give their own daughter false hope, you don't see me do that to my own children.

"You will just make new friends." I huffed, and stepped out. I watched as the play ground filled itself with children.

"You must be miss Black." I woman with a pink skirt, asked. I nodded my head.

"Okay dear, just stay with your friend and he will help you."

"But-" I couldn't even finish my sentence as she walked away. who would be my friend now?

I took anther looked around the now filled play ground. I saw one boy sitting alone. Eating his lunch. I walked over to him. maybe he could be my friend. he looked rather sadly.

"Hey." I said, he noticed me and looked up. He looked a be shocked, why? I have no idea.

"Can I sit with you?" I asked pointing at the empty space beside him. he nodded, and I sat down. I saw his stare on me, am I really that strange. even after the nice words of harry, I couldn't belief I was normal.

"I'm Charlie. Who are you?" I tried making a conversation.

"I'm Liam. But why do you want to sit with me?" he asked, confusion al over his face. and I just laughed, he was joking, right?

"You sat alone. And I don't have any friends here, so maybe we could be friends?" his eyes lit up, as I asked that. he nodded his head in a yes way.

"Of course I want to be your friend Charlie. So are you new here?" I nodded my head. he looked really happy, not like before. maybe he doesn't have friends either, then we are perfect friends together.

"I don't know the school very well, so could you help me?" I asked bitting my lip. Liam nodded happily his head.

"Every things for a friend. besides you are new here, can always return a favor" He smiled. And I smiled back.

"A favor?" I asked confused, I didn't even do anything for him.

"yes, you made me happy, plus you want to be my friend, no one wants to be my friend specially not girls." he looked down, and then looked up looking straight to a girl with long blond hair and blue eyes.

Maybe I wouldn't miss Harry as much as I thought I would.

I pushed him in the side and laughed. "I don't get why you don't have any friend, you're really sweet." he smiled showing his teeth and I smiled back.

"how long will you be staying here. please say you moved here forever." his eyes were filled with hope. and I knew I would break it, but I couldn't lie at him.

"we uhm moved here... I don't know if we're going to be staying here." I didn't tell him the important details, that could only break him, and I don't want that.

"I hope we can be friend forever. promise?" he extended his pink, and I wrapped mine around it.

"promise." and I was sure about it, I was sure about it that I would break this promise. I would do anything to keep that promise.
