Triggered

I stared blankly down at my food, not feeling very hungry as my stomach tangled in several knots. "Are you anorexic?" I heard someone ask me softly.

My eyes shot up and I started into two bright green orbs "What?" I asked, not knowing what he said.

"Are you anorexic? You know..." He looked down at my untouched food.

My eyes widened and I shook my head "No, no, no!" I did my best to convince him "I've just be through a lot this past week and I'm just not that hungry."

Harry nodded in understanding and nibbled on a french fry "So you haven't eaten all week?" He asked me further.

I shrugged and pushed my plate away "Not really."

"I hope you know that's not healthy." He tried adding humor and I found myself smiling a little "You should really eat something."

My head shook "I'm not hungry."

"So hun... what's your story." Sidney came back with her food and she sat a crossed from me, shoving her hamburger into her mouth.

I made a face "What do you mean?"

"Moving here all the sudden, something must have happened back home. So, I'm asking what it was."

Harry touched my shoulder making me shiver a little "You don't have to tell us anything if you don't want to." he gave Sid a hard stare and she stuck her tongue out.

"I caught my boyfriend cheating on me with my best friend." I blurted.

Sid's eyes grew wide and she set down her hamburger wiping her hands off "Oh... and you moved because you didn't wanna deal with him anymore."

"I have anger issues and I was scared that I would do something I would regret, and yes I didn't wanna deal with him anymore." I added still looking blankly down at my food.

"What about your family?" Harry asked gently.

My eyes met his and I almost forgot what I was going to say... but I quickly recovered "My mom is sick with breast cancer, my dad died from a car accident, and my step dad tried to rape me and beat me to a bloody pulp when I was 16." only when I named out everything horrible in my life... did I realize how fucked up it was.

Their eyes softened and it was like they were looking at me with a whole new perspective "This is your chance at a new life." The was Sid said it... it was like she was making a statement rather than asking a question.

"Yes." I answered it though.

They nodded "You now have a job." Sidney said with joy

"And as long as we are there... we will make you happy and content." Harry added with a welcoming smile.

"Thank you." I said. Only then did I feel any sort of happiness.

"Do you have a place to stay?" Sid asked me.

I nodded "Yeah, with an old family friend down the road. Mrs. Kent... ring a bell?"

Harry clapped his hands and I sorta flinched at the sudden burst of noise "That's my Grandma!"

"She's your grandma?" I asked, strangely surprised .

"Yeah!" He seemed so happy, and I wondered why.

"Well I now stay in her guest house."

He chuckled "I guess we'll be seeing a lot of each other than huh?"

Considering he probably see's a lot of his Grandmother... she was the nicest lady I have ever met. "Yup. Looking forward to it Styles."

"Same here Drake." He winked, making me glow bright red.

Another chapter...... here is the thing. I will probably be adding A LOT of chapters today because my mom and step dad are out camping for the weekend... and I have the computer all night! Whoooooooo hoooooooooo! Party with the lap top! xD I have no life.
