It's In His DNA
My phone was buzzing from across the table towards Josh. I reached across the textbooks and papers to my phone. I answered without looking at the number
"Hello" I said into the phone while sipping my ice tea.
"Hey! Ailia, it's Perrie!" Her perky voice said through the phone.
"Oh my gosh, hey! Whats up?!" I yelled into the phone
"Well I'm in London. The girls and I have a concert going on here and I was wondering if you wanted to come?"
"Oh yes! Totally, I would so love that"
"Brillant! You can bring someone if you want too. I'll leave you passes at the front and come find you sometime during the show"
"That sounds perfect! Thank so much"
"Oh no problem, I haven't seen you in awhile and I know you could use some time out" I knew she was referring to Niall.
"Yeah..it should be a fun night"
"Yeah, well I'll text you more info later"
"Sounds great, see ya later"
"Byeeeeeee" She said in a cute little voice.
I put the phone down. Shit I can't bring Annabelle because she's been crazy busy with work and Luke. I looked across the table to see Josh closely study an American History textbook. I smiled widely at him when he lifted his head up.
"What?" He said tilting his head to the side
I smiled showing my teeth "We're going out tonight"
"Where are we going?"
"Little Mix concert!" I said almost shrieked
"Really? How'd you swing that…Oh wait you know everyone" He said playfully
"It's going to be so fun, oh my gosh I love their album. This is going to be brilliant!!" I yelled getting shushed by neighboring people in the library.
"Yeah, yeah..well save all your energy for tonight then" He said jokingly

I slipped on a tight red dress with an open back and put on some black pumps. I knew I would be jumping around so I put my hair in a bun with loose strands. Walking into the kitchen, Josh stood in a pair of kakis and a light blue button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up. His hair was spiked up with a little gel. His green eyes popped as the tips of his lips extended.
"You look great" He said bring his hand on my lower back
"Thank you, not to bad yourself" I smiled as we exited the door.
We hopped into a cab and made our way to the O2. The bouncer in the entrance let us through no problem and we walked back stage
"This is going to be amazing" I whispered in Josh's ear
"Right?! I heard they're amazing live" He was filled with just as much excitement as I was.
"Ailia!!!" I heard a load joyful voice yell across the back stage
I saw her blonde hair bounce as she jumped up and down "Perrie!" I said exaggerating the 'e'
She jumped up and hugged me "Oh my gosh your here! Yay okay I go on stage soon so I'll meet up with you later, yup?" She said quickly
"Of course" Her bubbly energy was contagious "Oh and this is Josh, my friend from the states"
"Hi, it's nice to meet you" Josh said bringing his hand in for a shake
"Your kidding right, a hand shake?" She said as she pulled him in for a hug.
People were calling her name and as soon as she came to us she was gone.
"Wow she's pretty bubbly" Josh said giggling almost
I laughed "Yeah I guess so. Lets go to out seats eh?"
"I'll lead the way my lady" He said as he marched in front of me to our seats.
The concert was amazing. I sang to every song, knowing every word. I fell back in love with every song from Wings, How Ya Doin, DNA, and Turn Your Face. Perrie's voice was so amazing, and all the other girls of course. Jesy was just inspiring to see, I craved Jade's clothes, and was totally into Leigh-Ann's 90s obsession.
Josh and I went back stage to meet the girls and I was squealing the whole time, going into total fangirl mode.
"Perrie!" I yelled once I saw her
"Ailia! Oh yay, okay so these are the girls" She introduced me to them one-by-one
"Oh my god, this is great I'm such fans of you guys!"
"Your the one dating Niall right?" Leigh-Ann asked
Perrie shushed her but I put my hand up, "No its okay" I smiled "It's complicated right now I guess" I let out a soft chuckle.
"This is my best friend Josh" I pointed towards him
"Hey, great concert tonight, it was amazing" He said
"Awh, your too sweet" Jade smiled and rested her hand on his arm

We all went to the after party at some club in London. I've never been here but it looked really cool. There was flickering lights everywhere and the dance floor's tiles lit up every time someone stepped on them..it was seriously prime.
Josh led me to the dance floor and we danced.
"I miss you" He whispered in my ear
"Josh, what are you taking about..I'm with you right now?" I said puzzled
"You know what I mean. I miss you" He said more bluntly
I lifted my head to look in his eyes. There wasn't an oz. of alcohol in him..how was he being so honest with out the confidence boost. He looked so sincere it melted me. He never broke eye contact with me. He didn't move he stood there and I stood in front of him as people danced around us.
"Josh, I don't know what to say.." I trailed off
He stepped closer to me and rested his thumb on my chin, tilting my head closer to him…very smooth I must say. "Then don't say anything"
"I have to say something..I don't know how I feel.."
"That's okay…I know how I feel about you babe..I miss you and I just want you" His eyes set on my lips. "Let me kiss you" He whispered so quietly I almost didn't hear him
In the moment that's all I wanted. I wanted to kiss him again. I wanted the presence of his lips on mine. All I wanted was to taste his lips. His perfect lips.
I'm guessing he saw my temptation and lent down just to where our lips weren't touching, growing the lust. Giving in to the tempting situation I crashed my lips into him, breaking the space between each other. I fell in love with his lips all over again and I never wanted to fall out of love with them.
