Do Yo Remember Me?
Niall POV~ 6 hours later~
Zayn has been in surgery for 6 hours now and I can't take all of this waiting. All I want to do is see the love of my life, make sure he's ok, and hold him in my arms... is that so much to ask?
I have cried on and off for about 3 hours but quickly ran out of tears to shed after hour 4.
Harry has surprisingly been extremely nice and comforting to me, considering what I said and did to him? I don't want to jinx it though. I don't even know how many times I have thanked him in the past hour alone.
I turn towards Harry who is sitting besides my bed in the new room I have since the last one is...well you know...I'm not in pain anymore. The doctor said I can move and walk now but they just want to keep me here for another day just to be safe. "Harry?" i whisper softly to him.
"why are you being so nice to me?" I just really have to know that this isn't a one time thing.
"Niall you know i would never leave you, or anyone, during a time like this..."
"I know that Harry, but what will happen after today? Will you ignore me again? will you invite me to your wedding, will you take Zayn from me? OH GOD please don't take Zayn from me I...."
Harry cut me off before I started rambling on too much.
"Niall...Niall whoa I would never do any of those things. I know we have been on bad terms lately, but you have been a great friend of mine for way too long to be out of mine or Zayn's lives for good. Niall I love you and I love Zayn and I can tell that you two love each other very much and I would never tear what you two have together apart.But Niall? can you promise me one thing?"
"Y-yeah of c-coarse..." I say with a nervous stutter.
"Niall please promise me that Zayn will always be the one you choose... Promise me that no matter what happens that you wont leave him when/if things get hard? And one last thing...
Promise me that you will show him the love that he deserves, cause he deserves a lot. He hasn't had the greatest life and I just want to know that you will always be there to catch him if he were to fall again... Can you do all of that for me?"
A single tear slipped from his eye...wow.
"of coarse. I will love him until the end of time, and trust me, if I ever hurt Zayn...again, I want you to personally throw me out. Can you do that for me?"
He giggled. "Of coarse buddy" He said as he pulled me into a tight hug.
--------20 minutes later-------
Harry and I had just been talking when Zayn's doctor comes into the room.
"Hello boys. I have some good news... Zayn is finished with surgery. He is in room 205 down the hall. You can go see him now but I must warn y..."
I did't wait for him to finish talking. I was already out of the bed and running to Zayn's room. I coming Baby!
Harry POV~
"Hello boys. I have some good news... Zayn is finished with surgery. He is in room 205 down the hall. You can go see him now but I must warn y..." Niall ran out the door but I stayed to hear what the doc had to say.
"I must warn you that Zayn has suffered from amnesia due to the hard hit to his head that caused a large fracture on his skull. We are fairly positive that it will only be temporary but there is no way to be sure. I'm so sorry but there is nothing more that we can do but wait..."
the doctor left the room as I collapsed back down into my seat.
What Zayn dosen't remember anything?! this can't be happening. how will Niall feel?...
Oh crap Niall doesn't know yet!!
I jumped form the seat and ran for Zayn's room...
Niall POV~
I burst through Zayn's door. He gives me a confused look but I pushed it aside. I run up to his bedside and plant a kiss on his lips.
I feel to hands grab my hips and push me away...
"WHO ARE YOU?!" Zayn yells as he wipes the taste of me off of his lips. my eyes go wide and my mouth grows dry. "do you not remember me??" I asked scared as hell to hear the answer I already know come from his ear.
"I don't remember anything..."
