The Hidden and Discovered
~Chapter Two~
Tonya's Pov
Me
I rushed in the police station and I saw Rose in a chair being questioned.
" Rose!" I shout clutching my purse , she turns to me and waves me over, when I'm by her side the policemen closed his notepad and stood up. "That's enough questions for now, thank you." Once he's gone,I turn to Rose with a raised eyebrow," What did they ask you?" I asked, staring at her with wide eyes.
"They asked if I saw any sign of the killer, and of course I said no, they said I was lucky to be alive because the killer or killers are targeting girls." I shook my head and smile at her ," All that matters is that you're safe, and you're not riding alone on that skateboard anytime soon." I snatch the skateboard from under her seat and run out the door with Rose following close behind. I put the board in the trunk of my car hop in, turning to Rose when she enters the car," Your mom told me she and your dad are running late from work and didn't want you home alone. So we could chill at my house, my mom is there and my dad is at his office. We could stay there till your mom and dad get back." I smile before turning on the car," You guys are so over protective ." She replied with an eye roll "That's what friends are for."
I drive to my place, once we pull up to my driveway of my house.
I park the car inside the shed, shutting it off and hopping out. "Come on, lets relax in my room." I say before entering the house.".
Once we're in my room, Rose had went to my computer. " Uh, what are you doing?" I asked. "Looking up the last victims of those female's killer . Check this out." I walk behind her chair and peer at the computer screen. Rose points to a paragraph in the middle of the screen" It says that the girls go missing till they are later found in different places." She said, narrowing her eyes at the screen. I frown as I look at the locations the bodies were found. " Wait, Rose print a map of the area the bodies have been found." She did, so I run to my draw and pulled out a ruler and black sharpie. Grabbing the map, I draw out a triangle from the spot and gasp," Look, there's a pattern going on, so the next target must me here." I pointed in the center of the triangle. "Well, I think we should check it out." She smiled at me, before scanning the map. "Um, I don't think we should get too involved with this murdering case," I said .Rose raised an eyebrow at me," Look Tonya, you already got involved, and we're gonna find out why and who is killing these girls." She said sternly, her gaze locked on me. " This is what I get for being curious." I mumble with a shake of my head," Great you're in, now this is what we do..."
