Alyssa's P.O.V

Alyssa's Outfit

It's not even been a day since Niall kissed me. It's weird how I liked it. It doesn't mean I like him though. I can't like him he's a player and a womanizer who just wants to get into girls pants. But anyways enough of that I was supposed to be meeting Monica so we could go over our answers for our math homework. But when I walked into the library she wasn't there so I decided to wait for her. She's probably with Harry or something. So I went to go browse the selves to see if I could find a good book. I felt a pair of hands wrap around my waist and I already knew who it was. So I ignored and walked away. " What's your problem? " Niall said following me to the next self over.

" I know we kissed and all but I'm not your girlfriend " I say picking up Divergent.

" What I'm not boyfriend material? Not that I would wanna be your boyfriend. " he said rolling his eyes.

I remembered about my job application so I walked over to the printer to print out my application for Forever 21.

" Why would anybody want to be your girlfriend? You're a jack ass. " I say smiling at my myself.

He turned me around and stepped closer.

" First of all you don't know who I am, where I come from, or if I'm all those things you think I am. " he said stepped so close I almost knocked over the table. I could feel his warm breathe on my nose.

" Don't judge me if you don't know me " he said turning around and walking away.

Everybody in the library were staring at me so I grabbed my paper and left. Why were they staring? Do they think me and Niall go out? If they do they need to get those thoughts out of there heads. Niall might have been right about me not knowing who he was or where he came from but I knew what kind of person he was. That's all anybody needs to know.

Niall's P.O.V

Girls are such bitches. All they do is take your heart and break it in two. She reminds me of my first girlfriend. Her name was Ali Mcginley and she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen aside from Alyssa. We dated for 3 months until she broke me into pieces. Sure I had crooked teeth and I wasn't the most muscular kid but I treated her right. I loved her. I would do anything to keep her happy.

You tell somebody you love them then find them in your best friend's bed the next day. I swore to myself after that day that I would never get involved with another girl unless it was for sex. If I did get another girlfriend they would probably do the same thing she did.

It has always been hard for me anyways my father would always call me names and push me around. He didn't start beating me until I was twelve. He beat me with anything he could find. Rulers, cable cords, electrical cords, he even pushed me down the stairs once. And my mum couldn't do anything about she had to sit and watch. But I thought it would be better me than her so I took the pain.

After my mum had enough we left when he was at work. We escaped that hell whole and we lived with my grandparents for while. Then my mom met my stepfather Chris and things got better. I call him my real dad because he's the dad that actually acted like a real one. He's really wealthy and always wanted the best for me. He owns many companies around the world and always gave me what I wanted.

In fact when I got my football scholarship to college he threw me this big party because he was so proud. My family have always been the only thing I cared about. Until Ali, then she strewed me over so my family is the only thing I need. I don't Alyssa or any girl to be happy.

I'm happy on my own.

Alyssa's P.O.V

It was 11:00 and all I could think about was Niall. Maybe he was right. Maybe he's not as bad as he seems. Yes he is Alyssa's stop listening to yourself, he's a whore who only wants girls for sex. But what if there's more to it? Something had to have happen for him to be that way. There's always a story to everything. My thoughts made my eyes close and I drifted off into a deep sleep.
