Stay With Me

Niall rolls onto his side as he stares at Jana’s sleeping face, her eyes tightly closed as his hand still holds onto hers on top of the covers. He leans up and places a gentle kiss on her lips. He sits up, letting her hand go carefully. He gets out of the bed, trying not to make too much movements so he won’t wake up.

Niall slides his boxers on and throws the t-shirt on real quick before walking to the door. ‘’Ni?’’ He hears Jana mumble lightly. He turns around to see her with her hand clutching the sheet as she holds it over her chest, sitting up in the bed. ‘’I’ll be right back, Babe.’’ He tells her. ‘’Okay.’’ She nods lightly as she lies back down.

He soon makes his way down stairs, as quick as he could with out falling down the stairs in the process. He grabs the ring out from under the couch pillow and makes his way, silently and quietly, upstairs again. He goes back into the bed room to find Jana has put one of his shirts on and some clean underwear. She sits on the edge of the bed, checking a message she got from Harry earlier on her phone.

‘’Hey.. Jana?’’ Niall sighs a little, a lump forming in his throat as he can feel himself getting nervous. ‘’Yeah?’’ She asks as she stands up, putting the phone down on the bed. ‘’Um.. I need to ask you something.’’ Niall says, glancing at her eyes to the floor several times.

‘’What is it?’’ She asks as she walks over to him, placing a hand on his waist slightly.
‘’Um..’’ He mumbles a little as he steps back, her hand falling. He takes a deep breath and waits a few seconds before roughly letting it out. ‘’Are you okay?’’ She asks him, confused as he holds his hands behind his back. ‘’yeah.’’He nods, smiling a little at her.

He kneels down on one knee and takes the box from behind his back. Jana’s hands cover her mouth in shock and surprise as Niall opens the little box to reveal a diamond ring, something she’d never expect to see for years.

‘’I don’t care what any one says about me and you.. or what the magazines say about us…. And I just want you to be happy, and I hope I’ve made you happy as long as we’ve known each other.. and I assure you that the day I met you, when I first laid eyes on you.. I feel in love then and there, at that moment. And the fact that you allowed me to barge in like that into your life.. was.. was okay, I guess. I’ve never had a bond so well with any like I do with you and Tori. And I know that you could never find that guy who would except you and Tori into their lives… but I wanna be that guy. I wanna be the one to grow old with you, and extend our family and our lives with each other. I wanna make you happy and provide as much as I can for you. I don’t care about my career when I’m with you. You make me feel… like I’m just some guy this world, and not who I am to most people. .I’m amazed at how much I love you and how well we get along.. we hardly fight and argue.. and I guess that’s good too. I will never intentionally hurt you, or Tori, or try to make you mad in any way. I want you to be happy and spoiled by me for the rest of your lives.. But.. my point is, Love, I wanna be with you for the rest of my life on earth, and for eternity.. so Jana Bennett.. will you do the honor.. and marry me?’’ Niall looks up at her to see her crying and smiling.

‘’Yes…yes…yes. a million, billion times yes.’’ She whispers as he stands up. He slides the ring onto her finger. ‘’I love you.’’ He whispers as she grabs his cheeks with her hands and pulls him towards her. She kisses him good, and sweetly, as he holds his hands on her hips, moving them towards her butt some. ‘’I love you..too.’’ She breaths out as they pull away.
