Cloe's pov


I woke up to the sound of my alarm. Ugh! I'm so tired. I got out of bed and started to get ready for school, I'm meeting Skyler at the gates again hopefully carter won't be late today either.

Im waiting outside with Carter, Skylers taking forever to get to school. I see her brother Luke walking towards us carter starts to fix her hair and make sure her clothes look hot meanwhile I'm freaking out incase he talks to me. Which to my luck he doesn't "hi Skyler told me to tell you guys that she wasn't coming to school today and she has lost her phone." Carter bats her eyelashes a few times and lets out a giggle before saying "okay, thanks for letting us know" I raise my eyebrow slightly at Carter's actions before laughing at how obvious she is being, I look up to see Luke smiling at me, I could practically feel my cheeks become bright red and I fidget with the keyring on my keys. He starts to walk away before coming back over and handing me a little black box he smiles and says "Skyler also asked me to give you this...Happy Birthday by the way." And with that he left.
Carter turns to look at me in total shock because she forgot it was my birthday... "oh my god! I'm so sorry, I totally forgot! Happy Birthday" I just smiled "thanks" she gave me a quick hug before running into school. I'm sorta going off of carter she's turning into a little bitch.
Before walking into school I open the box, in side is a beautiful locket with a picture of me and her inside. I took the necklace out of the box and put it on engraved on the back was the words 'Best friend? Bitch please, she's my sister' I also noticed a little card inside the box I opened it and it read "Ohana means family and family means no body gets left behind, or forgotten. Love you!" I just smiled at how thoughtful the gift was and how lucky I am for having such and amazing friend I walked into school dreading the day ahead.
