"Thanks Mom and Dad!" I called to them as they left my new apartment. I was awfully grateful that they each took a day off work to help me move in.

"Your welcome, honey!" Mom called before the elevator door closed.

I stepped back into my apartment and closed the door. I did the final touches and soon everything was arranged beautifully. I can't believe this is my apartment!

There was a gentle knock at the the door. I walked over and looked through the peep hole. I stepped back excitedly as soon as I saw who it is. I swung the door open excitedly.

"Hey babe!" I said to the man outside my door.

"Hi sweetie! Do you like that name?" My boyfriend, Luke, asked with a concerned look.

"As I've been telling you for the past two months, I don't care!" I said, motioning him to come inside. "Whats in your hands that's as tall as a three-year-old?"

"A little house-warming gift." He said, laying it across the coffee table. "Go ahead and open it."

I carefully unwrapped the paper surrounding this beautiful mirror.

"OMG Lukey! It's gorgeous!" I exclaimed, jumping up to hug him. "Thank you so, so much!"

"Only the best for you, beautiful." He replied. He's just so sweet!

"How about we go grab some dinner?" Luke asked.

"Sure thing! Just let me change first." I said, running to my new bedroom. I put on some khaki shorts, a purple tank-top and a white cardigan, threw my hair into a fishtail braid and went back out to Luke.

"Ready!" I said as I grabbed his hand. We headed out the door.
