Chasing Angels - ON HOLD
Oh, joy.
Since Dusty had called, I had gotten dozens of texts from people that I didn't know. Or, DID know, but don't anymore, I guess. Aubrey, Carson, Elsa, and, least surprisingly of all, Dusty. Then they all stopped texting me, so I assumed they were on the plane. Here. To London. To visit me. Someone who has absolutely no clue who they are.
Oh, joy.
"Lina?" a shirtless Zayn said, poking my cheek and bringing me back to Earth. "Are you dead?"
I slapped his hand away from my face. "No. Although it would probably be the better alternative."
Zayn looked apalled. "Harry doesn't think so. And neither do I. And I'm pretty sure I can speak for the rest of us, too, even if Harry does talk about you a little too much."
I let my head drop onto the tabletop. "Thanks for trying to cheer me up. Sorry it's not working."
"Well, I tried," he said, sitting down. "What do we do now, Horan?"
"No clue, Malik," he replied.
"Wait and hope that this Dusty kid doesn't know where I live," I said.
