Still British

Chapter Two: Registration

Registration started at seven the next morning. Needless to say, I wasn’t a freshman, I was going into my senior year. But my brother was, and my mum didn’t want to go twice, so I registered too. It was pretty funny. Quick, because nobody was there, but funny. I quickly swept the parking lot when we got there, but there were no cars that were unfamiliar, although that meant nothing. When we got inside, there was no twenty year old boy, mob of teenage/preteen girls, extra security. No unfamiliar face. So, either he didn’t get to Freshman Registration on time, decided not to go, or isn’t actually in town. I, personally, am leaning towards the latter.
We breezed through registration. When we got home, I practiced non-stop for our parade the next day, and did nothing, really. Pretty normal day. The news that there might be another Brit, and a full blood Brit who’d lived there his whole life, in town, though, kind of got to me. I went through all of my old stuff, and cried. This always happened. I needed sleep, we had a parade tomorrow!

Notes

I'm sorry this chapter's shorter! I'll try to update asap, but my schedule's packed... I'm putting in the effort, though. I've got some writer's block for the point I'm at in the story, but I've got some pre-written chapters that I can post, so it might be a while before we get there. Hopefully I'll solve my writer's block before then! I love you all...
xoxo
