Beauty and The Deceased

She rushed out of her friends' house where the party had
Buckling up and pulling off driving through the busy late night streets in Seattle. Her only sources of light were the dimmed streetlights and the lights from hers' and all of the other cars. The thought about the betrayal made her stomach and head churn simultaneously. Forgetting that she was on a bridge over water, she closed her eyes a bit trying to make the physical and emotional sickness go away.

Before her eyes could open again she heard a crash and a rather loud splash and her air bag blew in front of her. 'Had I been in an accident,' she asked herself confused. There were no bruises or scratches anywhere. She felt perfectly fine disregarding what happened. She was just there in shock.

Moments later there were sirens and people shouting making her head pound worse and the last think she hears before she goes is, '' Miss Miss! Are you alright!?!?!'' But she couldn't answer her painfilled head wouldn't let her.

Her eyes flutter open the sound of scattered voices fill her ears. As soon as she realizes that she's hospitalized she moves. The heads turn and look at her.
"You're awake," Her mother chirped.
''Mom, w-what's going on?"
''Natalie you were out for two days straight in a coma. Do you remember the accident?'' The doctor answered for her mom.
'' I remember a little did anyone get hurt? Am I okay?"
"Yes dear you're fine. After some tests today and one more night for observation and then you're free to go home and continue life as you please, But the guy that you hit suffered horribly he drowned and crushed some internal organs, unfortunately he died ten minutes into surgery."

"I feel so sorry is his family alright?"
'' Yes, the Malik's are grieving but they blame you for none of this."
'' May I please speak to them'' She asked hopefully.
'' Sure wait just one second."

" I'm so sorry, It was all my fault and I shouldn't had drove while I was confused. I'm so so sorry about your son. I bet he was wonderful, kind, and young and I took his life away.'' Natalie said bursting into tears.t
"Hon my family and I accept your apology and you're welcome to come to the funeral and It's fine"
'' Thanks for forgiving me"
