Side Glances

I was lying in bed, thinking about the Adonis sleeping on the couch in the next room. At a few points in my life I would've told him he could sleep in my bed, not on the couch, but now... I just feel weird about him even being in the same dorm. I don't know, it just felt weird.
I looked at the clock, closing my eyes a second later. I had to get to sleep, I had classes.
I had just about gotten to sleep, I was in between. Like, you can hear, but not feel or react. So I was almost out, when footsteps moved closer to the bed, stopping a few feet away. I was slowly waking up again, the feeling of a body knocking my knee, then crawling over me alerting me. The bed creaked and the body rested itself behind me. I took a deep breath.
"Harry." My voice was slow and slurred. "What are you doing?"
"I couldn't sleep out there." he whispered.
"The couch is comfier than the bed."
"No, I just- I..." I rolled over to face him, rolling my ankles. "I promise I'll stay on top of the covers."
"Harry." I blinked, trying to make out his features in the dark.
"Usually I have a pillow to hold, the couch was throwing me off." He sounded so pathetic.
"Fine. Only because I'm tired and don't have the energy to argue." I rolled back over, facing away from him.
"Thanks." He murmured. I fell asleep to him saying, "When you said my name, you sounded like a three year old. 'Hawweh', that was adorable." and his little giggles.

The alarm went off quietly beside me, my hand automatically snapping to shut it off. I lifted my arms, stretching before looking over at Harry. He was snuggled close to me, the blanket he dragged in with him had gathered around his hips. He had an arm around my hips, his face pushed into my stomach, and his legs sprawled over the end of the mattress. I lifted his arm off me, sliding out, and gently setting it back down.
"No, come back, I'm cold." he whined, holding his hand out.
"I have class in a couple hours." I picked out clothes from my dresser.
"You don't need two hours to get ready." All his words were mashed together and fuzzy sounding, his face still pressed into the sheets. "Just lay here. You're like a heater." I laughed lightly.
"I don't know, you were awfully warm last night. I was sweating. I probably stink."
"No, you smell good. Come back." he lifted his head, squinting at me.
"Five minutes. That's it." I pointed, trying to make a point. He dropped his head again, smiling. I lifted the sheet, going underneath it. Harry pulled my closer, the fabric bunching under his hand. He re-positioned, his head on my stomach, arms around my hips, legs curled up and around my ankles. "You're like a monkey."
"Shh." he giggled.
"What is it-"
"Shh, shut up." his nose pushed into my tummy, his smile growing bigger.
"Why?" I asked, resting one hand in front of his face, the other on his back.
"Because I want to fall asleep again. Your talking is not helping, now shh." He reached back and grabbed my hand off his back, moving my hand to his hair. He wrapped it around my hips again. "Besides, you probably can't get to your class, it was snowing all night."
"Was it? How do you know?" He craned his neck to look at me.
"I didn't sleep well, and I saw it out the window." I watched him watch me.
"You realize, we barely talked in high school, we had tea yesterday, watched movies, and had a snowball fight, and now your cuddling me." I ran my fingers though his hair, pushing it off his face.
"So?"
"It's a little odd."
"How so?"
"I just explained, Harry."
"What did I say about talking?" His bunny giggles sounded again.
"I can talk if I want to." I pushed him off me.
"No, stop." he tried to grab me back, my feet already carrying out to the little kitchen. "Awh, come on!" he called.

Megan looked at me.
"He spent the night?" she cocked her head, giving me a suspicious look. I rolled my eyes.
"He couldn't drive home in the snow."
"So, you let him sleep in your bed?"
"He couldn't sleep on the couch."
"Did you tap that?" she grinned evilly, leaning on the counter.
"No." I grabbed my mug, filling it with water. "Since when did you sleep here?"
"Since I got home at two in the morning." She sneered, knocking passed me and going to her room, slamming the door. I turned to the microwave, heating up the mug.
"I'm cold." harry stood behind me.
"Holy- Harry!" I jumped. "You scared me."
"I can tell." He chuckled, looking me up and down. I suddenly felt awkward standing in my t-shirt and sweats. "You look good, by the way." he added, smirking.
"You can make your own tea." I showed him the mugs. Megan's door open.
"You totally did him! He's not wearing a shirt, or pants!" she shouted. The neighbors knocked on the wall.
"Sasha get some?" they shouted together.
"No!" "Yes!" Megan and I responded. The two obnoxious guys laughed.
"Jerks!" I shouted. Harry stood behind me, arms crossed and a smirk etched on his face. I blushed, hearing the guys next door whooping and dancing.
"They're friendly." Harry spoke. Megan winked at me, closing her door again.
"Make your darn tea." I growled, retreating with my mug.
"Don't worry," Harry called, "I'll be out of your hair whenever I can get my car moving." For some reason, I was both sad, and glad at this. He poked his head around the corner. "But I'd rather the snow stay a few more nights, a week if I'm lucky."

Megan howled from her room at hearing this.
