Date? Did he just say date?

I looked out the window noticing dozens upon dozens of paparazzi crowded outside a restaurant. I couldn't see it's name do to the monstrous crowd that continued to form. This is ridiculous. I have absolutely no idea why I even agreed to this. Maybe it was because Harry's incredibly adorable or sweet. Or maybe it had been his boyish charm as he had referred. Whatever reason it was, I was starting to regret not insisting something more secluded. I had a feeling, this was going to be a train wreck. I mean, something was bound to happen and my intuitions told me that it wasn't going to be good.

My nerves increased as Harry parked the car, pulling the key from the ignition.
"You ready?"
"Uh...yeah." I mumbled swallowing a little too loud for the quietness of the car. I pressed down, unbuckling my seatbelt. The door opened just as I placed my hand on it. I looked up to a smiling. "Thank you."
"No problem."
Stepping out, I could see a few paparazzi notice Harry and I. Great. I could feel my anxiety heighten as they grew closer and closer. I was never one for crowds. Especially when all of their attention is trained on me, well Harry.
"You okay?"
I nodded, the lump in my throat keeping me from talking. I couldn't stop myself from stepping closer to him as the crowd drew closer. A moment later I felt a strong arm wrap tightly around my waist bringing me to their side. I glanced up at Harry smiling slightly.
"Harry who's the girl?"
"What happened to Kendall?"
"What's your name?"
"She's not nearly as pretty as Kendall." Ouch, that one kind of hurt.
"Harry's too good for you." Oh, what nice fans.
"Is this you're new girlfriend?"
"You could so much better."
"Slut."
"Harry! Tell us who she is."
I unintentionally found myself clinging on to Harry's torso. I probably would've been knocked down and trampled if I hadn't. After what seemed like forever we were finally in the restaurant the annoyingly loud crowd behind us.
"You okay?" Harry questioned as he peered down at me. I nodded in response, getting a tad distracted by his green eyes. It was only then that I realized that my fingers were still tightly gripping onto his shirt.
"Oh, sorry." I mumbled quietly, pretty embarrassed at the fact that I had basically latched myself on to him. He chuckled quietly, bringing his slender thumb to my cheek brushing over what was now a bright red patch. I swear, this boy made me blush more than I have had in my entire life.
"It's okay love." He murmured back gently; causing my stomach to erupt with butterflies. Love. He called me love. I know it's a normal thing for people from the UK to say but, I just loved the way it sounded falling from his bright pink lips. I mean, how could someone be so perfect? I barely knew the boy and yet; I was already wanting to be with him. This was strange and all too confusing. I was suddenly ripped from my thoughts when a young, overly perky waitress approached us; an enormous smile on her face.
"Hello. If you'd follow me." She gestured behind her. Although she was meant to be talking to both of us, she was only looking at Harry. I could tell by the girlish squeal that had erupted from between her lips; she knew exactly who he was. I watched in disgust as she forced the tiny chest she had as far out as he body could possibly manage, along with her butt jutting out behind her. Well I wouldn't really say "jutting" seeing as her ass was as flat as the walls of this restaurant, but she sure did try.
"Is there anything I can get for you?" She asked turning directly towards Harry who didn't seem very interested in her failed attempts to be noticed.
"Um, yeah. Could I just have a water." He smiled, looking up at her sweetly. She smiled back even wider, revealing the now lipstick stained teeth. I could tell Harry had noticed by the apparent grin on his lips. "Mase. Is there anything you want?" He asked turning all his attention to me. I have to admit, it made me feel ten times better knowing that he wasn't paying any attention to her obvious advances. She turned to me, with now a deep frown. Looking at me expectantly.
"Um, yeah. I'll just have a water too." I answered back, trying to contain my laughter. She looked up, rolling her eyes, a fake smile was now plastered over her overly caked face.
"Anything else?" She asked, an annoyed tone taking over the one she had previously used while talking to Harry.
"Oh, yeah. You've got a little something." I said using my index finger to gesture to my front teeth. I smiled back widely as she immediately shoved her hand over her mouth before bolting towards the bathroom. Surprising me. Harry burst out into an absolutely adorable fit of laughter, mine following suit.
"I can't..I can't believe you told her!" He said in between laughs. "Did you she the look on her face? She was mortified."
I chuckled at his words. I would've have been mortified too if I had been flirting with some insanely attractive boy with red lipstick smudged all over my teeth.
The rest of lunch was carried out with interesting conversations and few more laughs as the waitresses returned to our table here and there, red in the face every single time. In my opinion. I did her a favor. Now I would think it would've been all the more embarrassing coming from Harry's lips. But then again, everything he says seems to sound amazing. So you never know.
"You ready?" Harry asks, reaching in his back pocket at the bill was placed on the table. I nodded, leaning over to pull my wallet from my purse, pulling out my card.
"I got it." He said, picking up my card and handing it back.
"Harry, I can pay."
"You could, but you're not."
"Let me at least pay for my half."
"Nope."
"Harry."
"Masyn."
"Let me pay for my half."
"No. I got it."
"Come on."
"Not gonna happen."
"Why not?"
"Because, men are always suppose to pay on dates."
Date? Did he just say date? He considered this a date. Not that I minded it the least if he did. I just, I didn't think. I actually don't even know what I thought.
"Okay." I smiled finally agreeing. I was way to happy with his previous statement to even care who paid. I stood up along with Harry. Who surprised me by grabbing my hand, intertwining his large fingers with my considerably smaller ones. I glanced up to find him looking back at me, as of to ask if it was okay that he held my hand. I gave a small nod, along with a smile. He grinned back, those absolutely adoring dimples that I loved so much indenting into his cheeks.
I only now noticed how much larger the crowd had actually gotten not that the doors were being pushed open. screams erupted from either side, deafening me in the process. I stumbled a little as hundreds of flashed went of blinding me. Just great, now I can't see or hear. I looked down just in time to watched my foot meet with a chunk of curb that happened to be raised a bit higher than the rest. This is just fucking awesome. I felt my hand slip from Harry's tight grasp as my body collided with the concrete. I brought my hands out in front to push me up, only to see Harry no where in sight. Oh this just keeps getting better.

No one seemed to bother with that fact that I just face planted with the cement. I slowly stood up, feeling an instant ache take over my body. Glancing down I noticed blood streaking down my right thigh, where there now happens to be an enormous cut. Cuts and scrapes littered my arms as well as my face. I'm assuming. Since I couldn't really see my face at the moment, I couldn't be to sure. But from the searing pain that illuminated from left cheek when I had touched it. I could pretty much guarantee that there was a large unsightly cut there as well. My shirt had ripped a bit revealing more of my torso.
