If You're Lucky.
There's no way in hell.
"Good Morning Sunshine!" Logan yelled as he entered my room.
"Mmm."
"Come on! Today's the day."
"It's not time yet."
"Yet but we need to prepare."
"Not yet. It's too early."
"Mase!"
"Logan." I groaned back.
"Fine! You lazy ass. I'll give you one more hour and then you're getting up."
I sighed in content pulling my blanket back over my head. Unfortunately I couldn't fall back asleep. Just freaking great. I huffed throwing the blankets back, stretching. So much for sleeping in. I checked the clock realizing it was already two. Well I guess I did kind of sleep in. A lot actually.
I drug myself to the bathroom, turning the shower to the perfect temperature. I stepped in letting the warm water rush over my body. After washing and shaving my entire body I got out wrapping a large white towel around me.
"Finally!" Logan cheered coming around the corner scaring the absolute shit out of me.
"Jesus." I jumped back, dropping my towel to the floor.
"Sorry bout' that." He laughed.
"Jerk!" I grumbled at him before walking away.
I had been standing in my closet in just a bra and underwear for the last hour trying to decided on something to wear. I finally grabbed a ripped pair of black high waisted shorts along with a maroon bandeau and a sheer black top. I applied little foundation and some winged eyeliner with a bit of mascara, topping it off with some bright red lipstick. Slipping on my all black converse and a few pieces of jewelry, I settled with my natural wavy hair spraying a bit of sea salt spray for bit of texture.
"You ready yet? I wanted to go get dinner before we went."
"Yeah." I shouted back grabbing my purse from my closet before making my way down the stairs to find him. "Well don't you look nice." I smiled taking in his appearance.
"Well thank you darlin'."
"No problem baby cakes."
"So where did you want to go to eat?"
"Hm. What about . . sushi?"
"Oo! Good idea."
"I know, I'm full of em'."
He chucked a bit pulling on to the highway. I couldn't contain the smile once I saw him pull up to my favorite sushi place. "You're the best."
"I know."
After ordering I looked up to Logan who was as usual, checking himself out. "You're such a dork." I laughed as he set his phone down, rolling his eyes at me a small smile spreading on his lips. "So, at this concert..."
"Yes."
"Where are we sitting?"
"Front row! Duh. Do you think I'd get anything less?" he explained looking at me as if I should already known.
"Well then. I'm surprised there's no backstage passes." I mocked and apparently I spoke too soon.
"Of course I did. You my friend, should know me by now."
"Yeah whatever. Just eat your food." I said just as our food was set down on the table in front of us.
"This is going to be the best night of your life. You just wait."
I smiled a bit to myself as I stuck a California roll into my mouth.
---
"Are you done?" Logan asked for about the hundredth time in the last twenty minutes. I was a slow eater while him on the other hand had inhaled every bit of food on his plate in the matter of five minutes. Someone was a little too excited.
"Yes. Jeez! Sorry we can't all swallow our food whole."
"Don't be so dramatic." he said pulling money out for the bill.
We didn't talk much on the ride to the stadium and I'm assuming it's because he was so excited. He was constantly squirming in his seat. I swear, I could hear the screams miles before we even could see the stadium. I was most likely going to be deaf by the end of this experience.
"You're lucky I love you." I huffed as we exited the car.
"I bet you're going to have just as much fun as me. Just wait until you see what they look like."
"We'll see." I muttered doubtfully. As we approached the entrance I could already see the thousands of girls and boys everywhere. Screaming. Honestly, I didn't get it. Why are you screaming? It's not like they're even out here. And now, Logan was screaming like a teenage girl. Wonderful. After what seems like ages we were finally inside the venue watching the opening act. I wasn't really paying much attention. I was too busy playing some game on my phone to realize that the band was about to come on until I heard my Logan scream like he had just been shot. I looked over absolutely shocked by his behavior. He was usually so much more composed than this.
"You okay over there?" I asked looking up at him.
"Oh my God! No! Their coming out! Oh my God! I think I'm going to die. Oh my God!"
I couldn't stop the laughter spilling from my mouth as I turned my attention back to my game. I attempted to block out the deafening screams as the boys approached the stage. Except every time one of them spoke the screams got louder, if that was even possible.
Finally after not being able to concentrate I shoved my phone back into my back pocket before looking back to the stage. Oh damn, they were all pretty good. . holy shit! I think I might have just pissed myself. There's no way in fucking hell. I can't. . no. That couldn't have possibly been him, but I can tell it is. His eyes, they're unforgettable.
"LOGAN!" I yelled so that he'd be able to hear me.
"What?"
"You know that asked for my number the other day?"
"Yeah. Why is he in the crowd?" He asked looking around. "Is he here?"
"Yeah, but he's not in the crowd."
"Then where the hell is he?"
I couldn't say anything because honestly I couldn't believe it myself. So I just pointed to where he was on the stage.
"No. You're lying." he said looking directly at me this time.
"I swear on my fathers grave I'm not."
"Do you know who that is? That's Harry fucking Styles! Harry fucking Styles asked for your number and you turned him down! You turned down one of the most wanted men in the world! You turned down Harry fucking Styles!" he was now screaming with wide eyes.
"I know!" I screamed back.
"Holy fucking shit." he said back just as shocked as I was. I turned down Harry freaking Styles. I pulled my phone back out concentrating on it the best I could. I couldn't let him see me at his concert. Especially once I hadn't even recognized him. That's probably why he laughed when I said I didn't give my number to strangers. He had to think I was a complete idiot for not knowing who he was. I mean who doesn't know who One Direction is? Me apparently.
I couldn't help myself from peeking up every once in a while to watch him. It was to hard not too. I mean really, have you see him? He was absolute perfection in a tall human frame, which made him all the more perfect and his voice. Oh my Lord, his voice. It gave me butterflies. All too soon the concert was over and I couldn't hide the disappointment that had taken over me.
"You ready to meet them! Oh my god! I wonder if Harry's going to recognize you. What if he doesn't? I mean, if I were you I wouldn't be upset. He's very famous and he sees probably thousands of girls a day."
I had completely forgot that we were going to meet them. What was I suppose to do? Should I just lie and tell Logan I wasn't feeling well, and I'd wait for him in the car? Yeah. That's a good idea. I couldn't face, not after not even realizing who he was and turning him down.
"Um, actually. I don't feel too good. I'm just going to go and wait in the car." I mumbled as we were filing out.
"You're such a liar! You just don't want to face Harry after you turned him down."
"No. I just. . ." I said not being able to come up with any excuse. I probably should've thought this through a bit further.
"Exactly. You're coming with me. Let's go."
I huffed loudly knowing that there was no way in hell I was getting out of this. Lucky for us, we were the last ones to meet them. No, not really. For me atleast, but I was a tiny bit hopeful that they were too tired and just wanted to get pictures done. Yeah, if we didn't talk I'd be good. Hey, maybe he won't even notice me. Like Logan said he probably meets thousands of girls a day, why would he remember me. It's not like I'm anything special.
