Dancing with a Star

Life is funny sometimes. It throws so many things at you that your world spins and it honestly feels like it won’t stop, sometimes it doesn’t until you get put six feet under.
I just wonder if that’s what my life will do.
As soon as my life starts to settle, it will pick right up again and just start spinning.
“Hey, they need us to line-up. We’re about to re-do our freestyle,” Niall said.
I looked up at him, smiling.
Today was the final night of the season. We had the final premiere last night, and Niall and I were dancing our freestyle again. America wanted it and America gets what America wants.
I followed him, my hair completely re-done. They ended up cutting my Woman Up dance from the line-up last night. They said something about how they wanted the show to go out with a bang, so it will close out the show.
“Love, come on,” Niall said.
“A kiss for good luck?” I smirked.
Niall laughed and looked around before pecking my lips.
Sometimes, it’s the small things that count.
We walked onto the floor and everyone got excited.
Dance Like Yo Daddy started, skipping all the ohs at the beginning, making me start into the dance moves that I can’t do.
We then started actually dancing at the chorus before Meghan goes ‘I can’t touch my toes’ and it switched to Better When I’m Dancin’.
We danced and laughed. The whole routine was just to have fun, which we still don’t understand why our freestyle was wanted to be viewed again. Everyone had a huge production, and our routine had past contestants that Niall had really connected with.
It was nothing but a lot of fun, which maybe is why we got to do it again.
As we finished, Tom came over to me, making me smile.
He then started shimming, making all of us laugh.
We weren’t at high stress. Now, it was all about having fun with the people we had become close with.
Some are closer than others.
Niall and I aren’t the only couple, just the one most people know about. We actually had no clue that the producer knows that relationships happen on the show, but he still doesn’t approve them.
Every pro-dancer has had at least one contestant that they dated, some more than that. The producer only found out about one of them before they broke up, but that was because they literally made out on the show.
I changed into my outfit for the Woman Up dance and was excited when everyone that I requested dance was dressed in theirs. The show was almost over. Niall and I got all tens on our 24-hour dance, which was expected, but Niall was still extremely nervous.
“Hey, Eveli, let me talk to you for a second,” Niall said.
“What’s up?”
“Are you sure about this? Are you sure about us telling the whole world? Do you want to just wait until tomorrow on Good Morning America?”
“No, that’s too obvious. Too planned. We need it to look spontaneous. Now, I have to go do this dance with my girls,” I said.
“Hey, Eveli?” Niall said, stopping me.
“Yes?”
“I love you.”
I smiled, kissing his cheek.
“I love you too.”
I then continued on heading towards the girls. Whitney hugged me close, as did Peta and Sharna. We were a tight bunch. Dancing this dance was myself, Emma, Peta, Sharna, Whitney, and Lindsey.
“We’ve got this. We just gotta woman up,” she winked, making me laugh.
We walked out when we told to, making me smile. What I didn’t realize was that Meghan Trainor herself was here, going to sing this song, meaning we were doing the whole song.
I started the pyramid and the girls and I switched throughout the routine. We started by walking on at the beginning, due to the music not really being a beat that we could hip-hop dance to. So, our first dance move was talking about our shoes and throwing our arms up in the strength motion. I had tweaked it, getting suggestions from the girls. The producer didn’t mind, he said he liked the fact that I was open to a few suggestions.
When we were done, everyone was on their feet. It was time for the results though, which meant that Peta and myself had to race back to the main stage, and we did.
We got backstage with our boys as soon as Tom got the countdown, making him wink at us.
“And we are back!” Tom said, making Erin smile.
“We are now going to find out who is going to win the mirror-ball for season 22 of Dancing with the Stars!”
“Please welcome our top three finalists!” Erin said, making me smile.
They then started playing music and Nyle and Peta went out first.
“Nyle and E-Peta!” Tom said, continuing on despite the mess-up.
Paige and Mark then went after them, later revealing Niall and myself.
We danced out before lining up along everyone.
Mark linked hands with me, knowing that I needed him just as much as I need him.
This was going to be difficult.
What if we didn’t win?
Niall’s POV
We just had to win! Tom only knew what to do if we won. C’mon Directioners.
“The contestant in third place with a 5 vote difference between them and second place is…” Tom started.
The pause was long, as they loved to drag out everything on this show.
“Paige and Mark.”
I felt Evelina gasp before letting my hand go and going to hug them.
As I hugged Mark, he whispered that I better take care of her and not hurt her. I smiled and nodded.
They then told everyone goodbye before their light went out. We then scooted closer to Nyle and Peta. Evelina grabbed Peta’s hand and my own.
“The winner of season 22 of Dancing with the Stars by 1 vote is…"

Okay! We are currently at 140 comments! If we get to 150 comments, or if we get to 37 votes (that's how many subscribers I have) this chapter by the time I update the epilogue, then I will update the new story the same day I update the epilogue. :)
I'll update tomorrow, no worries. I'm going to work and then going to put in a few applications. Trying to get out of fast food. :)
So, I think it's an unanimous decision, but the sequel will be called Our Dance. We have the epilogue and then this story will be over and Our Dance will begin! I honestly can't wait!
This will be the first sequel I write! :D
