Dancing with a Star

Sometimes, people do things that can surprise you.
Niall for example. Looking at him in the press, you would think he’s the happiest man in the world. I mean, why wouldn’t he be? He has all of the fame and money. He can get any girl in the world to follow him to his bed, yet he doesn’t.
When I see the way Greg looks at Denise, I see nothing but pure love.
Dinner flies by a lot quicker than I would like. I felt I needed the distraction. Tomorrow was a big day and I didn’t want it to come.
“Hey, E, come here. I need to talk to you about something.”
“Hey, what’s up?”
“Don’t think we forgot about what tomorrow is,” Rachel said, looking at Connor.
I pursed my lips, hoping they would so I could spend the day with Wesley. It would have been a nice distraction.
“Okay. What about it?”
“We have a bunch of stuff planned for Wes tomorrow and we were wondering if he could possibly stay at our place tonight?”
“Ugh. Yeah. We’ll put him in your car and you can just meet us at the house for some clothes.”
They smiled and nodded, knowing I was putting him in their car so we wouldn’t wake him up with the switching around and shuffling.
Thankfully, with him being four, his seat was tons easier to transport from one car to another.
So, we did, and he remained asleep.
We woke him up so he could eat dinner, but he fell asleep in my arms almost immediately following him finishing.
“We’ll see you at the house.”
“Is Niall staying there?” Connor questioned.
I glared at him.
“Connor, he has stayed there once and that was because we were both tipsy and I didn’t feel comfortable with him trying to get home.”
Connor nodded.
“Couch?”
“Of course. Always.”
“I wouldn’t say always. I was there when Wesley was conceived.”
“Hush! We are in public!”
“Since when do you care what people think about you?”
“Since I became Niall Horan’s girlfriend,” I whispered.
“Please don’t,” Niall said.
I jumped and turned around.
“Niall! How much have you heard?”
“Not much, but still. Keep not caring, because I promise if you start now then you will only become insecure about yourself.”
I pursed my lips and nodded.
Connor held Wesley as I switched the car seat over.
Niall and I then got in and I smiled at him.
“Wanna check out how good the bass is?”
Niall laughed and nodded.
I turned the bass all of the way up and plugged up my phone.
What Do You Mean by the Biebs came on and I smiled, starting to dance to the beat.
Niall and I sang the lyrics off key and at the top of our longs.
Then, U Smile came on and I squealed.
Suddenly, Niall grabbed my hand and started singing it to me.
I think my heart melted right there.
We listened to Justin Bieber the whole way home. I occasionally sang along, but Niall did most of the singing.
I can honestly say that Niall’s voice alone is a panty dropper.
When we pulled up to the house, I got out. I knew Niall wasn’t going home right away.
I packed Wesley a bag as Rachel and Connor pulled up.
“Here you go! He is all set!”
Rachel smiled.
“Thank you for this. Y’all are amazing,” I said, hugging her.
“He would want to meet him.”
“I plan for him to, just not right now.”
Rachel nodded and walked out with his bag.
“Love you Rachel!”
She blew me a kiss, making me laugh.
Everyone knew that now anytime someone left the house, I told them I loved them, just in case.
Niall then walked in as Rachel left.
“So, love, what do you want to do?” he asked, wrapping his arms around my waist.
I smirked.
“I have an idea,” I said, wrapping my arms around his neck.
He raised an eyebrow before I stood on my tiptoes, kissing him. The kiss started slow, but eventually grew strong and passionate.
During our make out session, I had moved Niall’s arm from my waist to on my side, so as I made my way up his jaw to his ear, I whispered.
“Count to 10 and then come and find me,” I whispered before running off and getting in Wesley’s hiding spot.
Only I know where it’s at, although Wesley likes to pretend that I don’t.
I could hear Niall calling for me, and as he went past me into Wesley’s bedroom, I smiled and snuck out. As soon as I stood up, Niall wrapped his arms around me, making me squeal.
He lifted me up and threw me over his shoulder.
“Niall! Put me down!” I yelled.
“Nah. I’m good.”
I then smacked his ass, making him almost drop me.
“Did you just?”
“Smack your ass? Sure did,” I said, laughing.
Niall set me down on my feet and the minute he did, I took a run for it.
“Damn it, Eveli!”
I giggled and ran down the stairs, only to be picked up right before I jumped on the couch. Niall landed under me, making me giggle.
“You caught me,” I said, biting my lip.
“Always,” he whispered before I leant down and kissed him.
I smiled and he flipped us over, making the kiss get heated quickly.
I pulled back when his hands started to pull my dress up.
“I’m sorry, Niall. I can’t. At least, not yet,” I whispered.
He pecked my lips with a understanding smile.
“I respect that. You aren’t ready and I’m not going to push you into anything.”
I kissed him quickly.
“Thank you and I’m sorry. It’s just that it’s been a while and with Wesley, I need to be one hundred percent that I know they are going to stay.”
“You don’t think I’m going to stay?”
“If we don’t work, no.”
He pursed his lips before flipping us over where I was straddling him. He took my hand and placed it on his chest.
“This might be incredible cheesy, but do you feel that?”
I nodded, feeling his pulse at a quickened pace.
“I haven’t ever experienced this before. It might be love; it might not be. I don’t know, but I don’t want it to stop.”
I smiled and kissed him.
My heart wanted to fall, but my brain was protecting itself. I didn’t want to be hurt. I didn’t want Wesley to be hurt.
Is it already too late for that though?
