“Tori and Ashton sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage.” My mum cooed. I rolled my eyes, “Mum stop!!” I laughed and we got into the car. I let Tori off at home and told her to get dressed in something nice. My mum and I went to this local coffee shop.

We talked about Tori, and our relationship. And how I was doing. And the rest of the boys. “I really like your hair all curly like that Ash.” She smiled. “Thanks mum.” I said and took a sip on my latte. “She has a crazy ex though.” I sighed. “All girls do darling. He’ll leave her alone eventually.” She smiled and hugged me. “Let’s go get Tori and go to dinner.” I said and we left.

We drove back home and I texted Tori and told her to come out. She said to give her a minute. Just a few minutes later she came out in a white dress and black heals. She looked gorgeous. I smiled and my mom patted my shoulder. “She looked beautiful son.” She said. “I know mum.”

Tori got into the backseat of the car and I drove us to this fancy restaurant. When we got there I helped both Tori and my mum out of the car and inside. I had a plan tonight. And I’m glad my mom was here to see. We were seated and we all ordered wine. I fiddled with my fingers. My palms were sweaty. I had never been so nervous before.

As we sipped on our wine I watched as Tori drank her glass. She took small sips, I was frustrated honestly. I ordered her the fettuccine Alfredo and my mom got salmon and I got steak. Tori was almost finished with her glass and I gulped. I hope she doesn’t swallow the whole thing. OH MY GOD PLEASE DON’T LET THAT HAPPEN. She looked down into her glass and smiled, she then looked up at me with tears forming in her eyes.

“Ashton… really?” She smiled and I nodded. I grabbed her hands, “Tori, you’re beautiful, even with all of the flaws you think you have, but when I look at you, all I see is perfect. The next time I see you in a white dress I want it to be a wedding dress. Tori, will you marry me?” I asked and a smile spread across her face. “Yes Ashton! Of course!!” She shouted and kissed me. The whole building clapped. “I love you.” I spoke over all the noise. “I love you too.” She smiled.
