She's light

Chapter one

There is a time in every girl life, that she falls head over heels for some boy. The moment where the girl would do anything for that one special boy. She thinks she loves him, she gives him everything. And then, reality knocks on her door and wakes her up from this fantasy.

This has never happened to Ebony.

And because this has never happened, she has no clue how heartbreak feels. Well, she has never felt heartbreak over a boy. Her dog died last year, that was about the most pain she has had so far.

Ebony can't complain about her life. Yes, her parents are divorced and she never gets too see her mom. But, she saw that one coming from a mile away. It wasn't a real shocker. When her dog got ran over by some truck, now that was a shocker.

Ebony lives in a small town in Texas, Florence. Population: 1054 people. It isn't much, but it has always been enough for her. That was until something happened...

She grew up.

It just isn't enough for anymore. She's sixteen now an she things it's time for something new. She loves it here, of course she does, but she also would like some change. She would love to just go to a big city and start living her life there. She didn't plan anything for her departure. The only thing she did was book a one way plane ticket and pack her clothes.

Does she have a place to stay? No, she does not. Does she care? No, she does not.

Right now, she's sitting in the plane waiting for it too take of. Next to her sits an business woman. Ebony pities her, she has no time too enjoy the little things in life. The little things Ebony loves so so much.

"No! They need to be there at two, not three! Got dammit Paul, get them under control!" The woman screeched in her phone. She was finally quit and inspected her perfectly manicured nails.

"Okay, i understand that but-" The woman got cut of at the other end of the phone. When she started talking again, she sounded pissed. "I don't care! Honestly there twenty-something, they're not kids anymore. Get them under control! And they better be there at two, or i swear to god Paul." Then she hung up the phone.

Ebony looked at the woman, wondering what got her so fed up. "Are you alright miss?" She asked in her polite, Southern accent.

The woman looked up from her phone and saw a beautiful girl staring at her in wonder. She has a tan skin and beautiful curly hair. For a second, she forgot she was angry and smiled at the kid.

"I'm fine dear, this is going to be a long day. That's all." She told the kid. Ebony smiled when she saw the smile on the woman's face, it looks a lot better then the glare she saw earlier.

"Just don't forget to enjoy the little things. I know that when you enjoy those little things, your day will be a lot easier to handle. Like a warm cup of thee or a butterfly sitting on a flower." Ebony sighed with her eyes closed.

Sara was surprised that those smart words came out of the mouth of this teenager. "I will." She told the girl quietly.

Ebony opened her large, grey eyes and smiled. "You should." She nodded. The plane was already in the air and she didn't even notice the departure.

Sara looked at her watch, it's seven in the morning. If everything goes like she planned it will, she'll arrive in LA around twelve. Her work was done, until the boys came to her studio for the photo shoot.

"My name is Sara by the way." she told the young girl. She smiled up at her and nodded. "My name is Ebony."

Ebony liked the fact that Sara was now relaxed and smiling, way better then before. She also likes the fact that she is the one that but the smile there. "Why were you so angry on the phone, you don't look like an angry person." Ebony questioned.

Sara smiled, this girl is sweet. "Just work, people who don't get that two o'clock means two o'clock and not three." She sighs. "But that's not important right now. What about you, what are you doing all alone on this plane."

"My dad enjoyed living in Florence to much too come with me to LA. I'm going there for a new, fresh start. New people, new home, new life." She smile at the thought.

Sara looked at the girl and realized, she would be all alone in a big city like LA. That is dangerous. Maybe she could- no, that's silly. But if she want's too... she could always ask tho, right?

"Do you have somewhere you need to be after we get on the ground?" Sara asked the girl. Sara would like it if the girl could maybe come to her job with her, become friends with the boys. Everybody needs a little light in there life, and Ebony is the light in human form.

"Hm, no not really. I need to find a place to stay for the night, but i can alway book a hotel right?" Ebony giggled. A apartment in LA couldn't be too difficult to find, but she's always up for an adventure.

"Would you like to come to my job, meet the boys, just have fun?" Sara asked the young girl. She smiled when she saw the girls eyes light up.

"I would love to! An adventure, i love adventures. This guy on Youtube, he is AMAZING. Louis Cole, his motto: Peace out, enjoy life and life the adventure. Love him! And he's British." Ebony sighed as she thought about Louis, to bad he's literally at the other end of the ocean.

Sara giggled at the young girl, a crush. She then realized something, she never giggles. Not since she took this job anyways. Maybe Ebony will bring some light in her life as well as in the boys', lately they've been very nervous to release there album. And when they're nervous, they get irritating.
