"Yes..Do I know you?" I lie as I turn around and face my ex best friend, She furrows her eyebrows and walk over to me.

"I'm your best f-"

"Ex..best friend. There's a difference" I say as I cut her off, Louis looks at the ground and then I hear some one clear the throat

"What would you like?" Shelia repeats trying to make thing less awkward

"Um..I think I'm just gonna go.. I have to go home " I say quickly as I get my purse

"Wait, My shift is over and I don't have a ride. Can I join?" She says as she grabs her bags, I nod and smile

"Coral, Please. Listen to me" Melissa says as I stood up

"No. I don't need to listen to you! Not anymore, Now move!" I snap, She looks surprise. She knows I would never raise my voice at anyone. Cause I would always be the shy one while she was the wild one.

"Why can't we just forget about the past" She says with a nervous smile

"Shelia, Can I get a glass of water. My throat is dry" I say in a dry tone

"Sure I will be right back" She says glaring at Melissa and Louis

"Can we talk about this at our home"

"Our?"

"Louis and I are a c-"

"Wow. Now I really want to come over" I say rolling my eyes

"Here's your water" Shelia says as she hands me my water

"Thanks, We should get going" I say as I go around Melissa and take a gulp of my water, until my other wrist get yanked. I look up to see Louis with sorrow in his eyes

"Let go of me" I gritted through my teeth

"Come on Carol, We're in 2014 not in 2011 anymore..Please forget about the past"

"Nobody forgets, They can forgive but they can never forget. Especially when the guy you loved promised he would never hurt you. So let go of my fucking hand" He doesn't budge, My grip gets tighter on the water as I stare into his blue eyes

"Listen Louie or Levi let go of her hand before I call security" Shelia says as backs me up

"This doesn't not involve you" Louis snaps at her

"It does since she's my ride and I have a 14 year old to take care of. So let go of her hand" She says as she grabs the water out of my hand and pours it down his head, Melissa and I gasp. Shelia grabs my hand and runs out, I look back to see Melissa getting paper towels and trying to dry off Louis.

"I can't believe you did that" I say as we stop at the corner

"My brother Jake needs to be taken care of , I don't need some dick to come around and waste my time" She says rolling her eyes

"Your brother is 14. Can't he take care of himself?" I ask

"He has a Eating Disorder . And if nobody's there he won't eat anything" She says as she chokes on her words

"Who takes care of him when your at work?" I ask with furrow eyebrows

"My friend Doris, She said today was her last day, She has to take care of her daughter. And she probably just left 5 minutes ago" She says as she wipes her tears quickly

"Oh, I'm sorry I wasted your time. Lets go" I say as we walk to my car, I feel so bad for this girl. She has to go through that much, I wonder where are her parents.
