Harry's POV

“Harry are we almost there?” Elliot asks, I look over at her and notice she doesn't look so well. Her face is very pale, and her eyes look exhausted.

“Are you okay El?” I ask suddenly concerned.

“I don't feel very well all the sudden.” She tells me as she puts her head between her legs and I'm suddenly very concerned. We pull up to the start of the trails and Elliot snaps her seat belt off and races towards the bathrooms long before I can even put the Rover in park. I go to hop out but Elliot's phone starts ringing. I look at the caller ID and see that Joe is trying to call.

“Hello?” I answer.

“Harry! Listen I was just calling to say that I guess a bunch of people got sick from something this weekend. Rose woke up sick this morning and I'm not feeling so hot now so just a warning. It's either the flu or some sort of bug.” He explains as everything clicks into place.

“Makes sense, I took Elliot out to the Hollywood trails and we hardly made it here before she raced off, I'm assuming she's sick too.” I step out and start walking towards the bathrooms where Elliot is.

“Well, take her home and pump her full of fluids.” He tells me as I can literally hear Elliot getting sick behind the door.

“Will do, I'd better go and help her. Take care.” I wish him well and hang up the phone. I slightly open the bathroom door, since it's a women'ss restroom I call into it, “Elliot, are you ok?” I ask.

“I wouldn't come in here, I'm not feeling that great Harry.” She calls out.

“I know, Joe just called you and said a lot of people in your family have some sort of flu. Can I come in so I can take you home? Is anyone else in there?”

I hear a meek no and carefully walk in. The last thing I need is a tabloid headline tomorrow saying I was peeping at women in the restroom. I find Elliot in a stall with a pale face and closed eyes. I wrap my arm around her waist and pull her up. “Let's take you back to my place.” She nods and leans against me.

“I'm sorry.” She mumbles.

“Not even close to being something to be sorry for. I open the back door and help her in so she can lay down, buckling her in the with the middle belt. I race around to the drivers seat and start the Rover back up. I quickly think of all the things a sick person needs and realize I probably don't have any of it.

“Elliot? I turn to face her before I head back to the freeway, “I think we should stop and get you some crackers and stuff. You want to come into the store with me or wait out here? I'll try to be as quick as possible.” I add, but I'm a little nervous to leave her in the car, I have no idea who will be in the store and if they'll stop me for pictures and such. A simple task could take hours.

“Please?” Is all she says, its crazy to think of how fast this illness has effected her, just before we got here she was decorating her house and bouncing around excited about our hike. Thankfully it's a Monday in October so I'm hoping I can get in and out quickly.

I stop at a corner store, leave the Rover running and quick run into get some crackers, gatoraide, and ginger ale. When I come back out, thankfully not noticed, Elliot is sleeping. I drive carefully back to my house and into the garage. I put the stuff I bought in the kitchen then rush back to help Elliot get into the house.

She's still sleeping so I carefully unbuckle her seat belt and pull her towards me.

“Harry?” She asks in a weak voice that pulls at my heart.

“I'm just trying to get you inside love.” I whisper as she wraps her arms around me.

She moves with me and we make our way to the living room where I lay her on the couch carefully. I grab the throw from behind the couch and drape it across her. I walk into the kitchen and rummage for a bucket or bowl, when I finally find something I walk back to Elliot and place it on the floor by her face just in case.

Her hair was messy from sleeping and throwing up so I cautiously pull her pony tail holder out, straighten it back out and pin it back up. Helps that my hair is longer so I seem to know what I'm doing. I decide to grab my clothes from the Rover and organize it in my room while Elliot sleeps. I don't know when she'll wake up and need my assistance again.

-------------------------------------------------

I unpack my bag and put all my things away, shake out my bag over the trash because I somehow got small rocks and dried leaves at the bottom. Then I hear it. Stomping on the ground and rummaging. Thankfully Elliot has been here before so she should know where the bathroom is, I race down the steps to see an empty couch and follow the noise of heaving to the bathroom. I see an extremely sick Elliot crouched over the toilet throwing up.

She stops and runs her fingers through her hair to get any loose strands away from her face.

“You okay?” I ask, feeling bad I wasn't there to help her to the bathroom.

“Just need to brush my teeth.” She jokes and tries a meek smile.

“I'll find you an new one, just a second.” I run back upstairs and muddle through my bathroom closet to find a fresh one and run back down to give it to her. She's sitting against the door with her head in her hands. “Found one.” I hold it up in the air and quickly open it and place tooth paste on it to give to her. I help her up and guide her back to the sink.

After she finishes, she comes over to me and leans against me for support. I wrap my arms around her and breath her in.

“I'm sorry.” She tells me.

“Why do you keep saying that? You're sick, I wouldn't leave you, you helped me when I was in the hospital, this is the least I can do.”

“I'm just sad I ruined our date.” She whispers.

“Eh, I'm sure we'll have plenty more.” I think about all the places I want to take her to and all the fun things I want us to do together. “Lets get you back to the couch and find some terrible American reality tv to watch okay?” I finally get her to smile.

---------------------------------------

The rest of our day consisted of watching as promised terrible tv, finally getting Elliot to eat saltine crackers, helping her throw up the saltine crackers, helping her brush her teeth, and finally getting her up to bed. This sickness has really taken it out of her, thankfully her mom found people to cover her classes quickly so she won't be working tomorrow, not that she could anyway. She can hardly stand up without falling over.

I pull the covers over her and gently kiss her temple. I quietly sneak out of the bedroom and head back downstairs to clean up. I sanitize the bathroom, extra attention to the toilet, and spray the living room to try to get the throw up smell out of the house.

After I feel like everything is in top shop I head to my office to make plans to travel back to London in now less then a week. It's a little past midnight here, so I decide to call my mum. I haven't talked to her all weekend because I was gone and it's early at home, I know she'll be awake.

“Harry!” She answers cheery after only a few rings.

“Hey mum. How are you?”

“Doing well, I missed you all weekend! Did you have fun with Elliot and her family?” She asks.

“We had a blast, it went better then I thought, I survived without my phone, running water, and electricity.” I laugh.

“Ah, well I'm very proud of you Harry. How's Elliot?” She always wants to know how she is.

“She's actually got the flu of some sort, she's sleeping here for the night so I can make sure she's okay, Joe is out with his girlfriend for a few days and I didn't want to leave her alone.” I explain.

“Oh? Staying at your house then?” She asks.

“Yes mum. Zoe and I are officially done, I couldn't keep it in anymore, I told Elliot that I liked her and she admitted she liked me back.”

“I knew it!” Mum practically yells in my ear with excitement.

“Of course you did.” I mumble. “Mum, I'm headed back to London on Sunday, we have some things that have come up that I have to deal with so I'm needed.” I tell her.

“Oh no. What is Elliot going to do?” She asks.

“She'll be fine mum. I'll be back early January and I don't go on another tour until after my birthday so we still have time.” I explain.

“Well I guess I should say what is Harry going to do? I know you'll miss her.” I swear sometimes she can read my mind from thousands of miles away.

“I haven't really thought about it.” Lies. “I'll just fill my time up with work and sleeping, calling, texting, anything I can to keep up with Elliot.” I admit.

“Well I'm hoping everything works out Harry, I really like her. But I have to get to work, and you need to get to bed young man.”

“All right mum. I love you.” I'm such a mamas boy.

“Love you too, send my best to Elliot.”

“Will do.” I hang up the phone and confirm my ticket to head back to London for early early in the morning Sunday, I'll be losing about eight hours so I need to leave early, I'll get there at four p.m. LA time, but it will already be ten at night in London. I hate time zones, hate the stress that comes with flying, and I already hate the thought of leaving Elliot.

I sit at my desk a little while longer looking ahead at the schedule Modest has sent to me trying to plan my days.

“Harry?” I look up and see Elliot leaning against the door frame, I quickly get up to be by her.

“What are you doing up?” I ask concerned.

“I just woke up and I was confused you weren't there.” She admits nervously.

“Sorry, I was booking my flight, I called my mum, and I got distracted. How did you sneak up on me?” I ask.

“Oh, I'm actually not a yoga teacher, I'm a secret ninja. The yoga stuff is just a cover.” She sasses me and I can't help but laugh.

“Come on love, lets go to bed.” I help guide her down the hall and up the steps to my room. Once there, Elliot plops down on the bed and crawls to the spot where she was before. I snicker at her clumsy movements. I strip my shirt, shorts, and socks of with ease and crawl into bed with Elliot. It kind of feels weird that we're not even together officially, yet, and we've slept together more then we've kissed.

I would love to kiss her now, but I'm sure she won't allow it with the puking she's done today and to be honest, after seeing her puke I'm not sure I could go through with it. And I really don't want to get sick.

I snuggle up to her and drape my arm over her waist pulling her closer, I kiss her exposed shoulder. Well, quite a few times to be honest.

“Good night Harry.” She whispers in the dark.

“Night Rain.” I don't know why I use her real first name sometimes, but sometimes the moment just calls for it.

@All-is-on
Ah thank you!! I'm super excited that you're reading my other stories, Liam's story needs a bit more looking back at it but it was my first! And a lot of people don't like how I ended it, I've been thinking about adding a bonus chapter for a while but I'm all wrapped up in Niall's story at the moment! :)
