Taylor POV

A teardrop fell onto my suitcase as I placed the last article of clothing into it. I slowly pulled the zipper to close the bag. I stood up and began pulling my two bags behind me. As I walked down the hall, I started thinking about all of the happy memories I lived in this house. Now they're all going to be washed away, destroyed by the fire. The fire of fame.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Ashton said, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Positive." I replied, repeating the same thing I've said everyday since I first said it a week ago.

"Alrighty, then. Let's get going, or your going to miss your flight." He said, taking one of my bags.

We walked out to the car and loaded the bags in. We got in and began to drive to the airport.

"So, tell me honestly, why do you want to leave?" He asked me.

"I'm just done with the world watching my every move." I replied. "Is that okay?"

"I guess, but do you really have to leave? It's not going to be the same without you." He pleaded.

"It's what's best for the both of us." I said. "And plus, you know what they say. If you love them, let them free."

"I know, it just hurts, a lot." He replied.

"I know it does, but it's what's best." I said before we pulled up at the terminal. We hopped out and grabbed my bags. I dragged them in and got my ticket. Before I knew it we arrived at security. We hugged like this:



"I'm going to miss you," Ash whispered to me.

"I'm going to miss you, too." I whispered back.

"I'll be waiting for you to call." He said.

"I'll call as soon as I land." We separated. "Thanks for letting me do this."

"Your welcome," he responded. "Just remember, you can come home whenever, or never. I don't care, it's your life, live it the way you want."

I smiled even though I was beginning to cry.

"I'll call you," I said before heading to the line. "Lurve you."

"I love you, too." Was the last thing he said to my face.

I walked through the line and to the gate. When my section was called, I gave them my boarding pass and boarded the plane to my new life.

I landed in New York about a day later. As I descended off of the plane, I felt the cold air hit my face and boy did it feel nice. It was SO hot on that plane! I grabbed my bags and started looking around for a certain someone.

"Hey, Cindy!" I said, walking over to her.

"Hi, sweetie! So, you've decided to come home, how come?" She asked.

"I'm just done with everyone in my face." I said.

She nodded. "Well, you look tired. How about we go home?"

"Yes, please." I said.

When I stepped through the familiar front door, it was silent.

"Where'd everyone go?" I asked.

"They were adopted." Cindy replied with sigh.

"Well that's good." I replied.

"I guess so," Cindy replied.

"Well, I'm going to go up to bed." I said.

"Okay, hon." Cindy said. "Need any help with your bags?"

"Nope, I'm good! But thanks!" I said, dragging my bags up the stairs.

When I got up to the top of the stairs, one thing caught my eye, The interview room where I first met Ash. I felt the tears begin to fall from my eyes. I quickly rushed to my room and got ready for bed.

As I sat bored on my bed, I decided to go on Twitter. I clicked on trending and read the hashtags. Then a few caught my eye,

Since when did they care? Well, they obviously didn't really show it while I was with Ashton. I decided to call Ashton to see if he knew. I called a few times, but no answer. Must be busy. That got me thinking, what if I DID go home? What would happen?

Would everything be okay again?
