Unexpected Love Year One

-------------Maggie's POV------------

Yes thank god it was finally Saturday I have survived my first week of university and for that I'm gonna lay in bed all day. I let out a satisfying groan as I sunk back into my covers.

"Hey Maggie glad you’re up so..." Summer started

"Why must you punish me?" I asked interrupting summer and looking towards the ceiling.

"I just want to know what color you think I should paint my room." Summer said handing me swatches of different shades of purple

"You could ombré your walls with lavender and the dark purple." I said turning towards her in my bed.

"That's a great idea; now what color are you painting your room?"

"Lime green, purple, hot pink and turquoise." I respond.

"Okay cool I'm gonna go call the boys"

Why are you calling them?"

"You want to lift heavy paint cans?"

"True, oh and tell them to bring extra shirts"

"Why?"

"You wanna get your clothes dirty?"

"You’re smart when you’re lazy."

"Thank you now leave so I can have my last minutes of peace on Saturday" I said pulling the covers back over my head.

"I'm making waffles for breakfast" Summer yelled down the hallway

"Be there in a sec" I said jumping out of bed.

------------Niall POV--------------

"Uh huh, okay babe be there soon, I won't forget OK bye."

"Who was that?" Harry asked eating cereal at the table.

"Summer, she wants us to come over to help her and Maggie paint."

"Yay!"

"You just want to see Maggie."

"Whatever well come on let's get dressed" Harry said putting his bowl up.

"You want to leave now?"

“Oh I'm sorry did you have something important to do Mr. Horan"

"No… just go get dressed oh and bring an extra shirt.”

"Why?"

"I don't know just do it."

Harry walked by to his room and I went to our bathroom. I looked I looked at my hair and sighed in, shook my head and went straight to my closet to get a snapback and an extra shirt for whatever Summer needed. I then went back to the bathroom to spray some colon on. I left the bathroom to see Harry up front with the keys and extra shirt in hand.

"Ready" he asked.

"Ready" I replied.

~30 minutes later~

----------Niall's POV-------------

"What's that noise?" Harry said as we approached Maggie and Summers door.

"I don't know" I said knocking on the door for fifth time.

"Well they probably can't hear us knocking then mate" Harry said matter-of-factly.

"What do you want me to do?"

"Step aside" Harry said I moved out of his way and he kneeled down.

"Most people hide their keys under there welcome mat…" Harry said running his hand under the mat and pulling out a sliver key.

"Harry we are not breaking in to our girlfriend’s flat" I said but Harry had already turned the key in the door.

"Then you can stay out here." Harry said opening the door. I entered anyway and Harry and I followed the noise.

"Wait I know this song," Harry said as we get closer to the music.

"It's coming from the kitchen" I replied. We walked to the kitchen and saw Summer and Maggie dancing to ‘Moves like Jagger’. Maggie had a wooden spoon in her hand and Summer was whipping her hair back and forth. Harry and I must have stood there watching them for a good couple of minutes until Harry spoke up.

"Nice dance moves" Harry said as he smirked. At that moment Maggie and Summer both stopped dancing and started at me and Harry. Maggie went turn off the ipod.

"Hi" Summer said

"Good morning" I said with a smirk on my face.

"How long have you guys been standing there?" Maggie asked nervously.

"A while" Harry said walking into the kitchen and hugging Maggie from behind

"Um your forgetting the important question, how did they get in here" Summer said

"We broke in" I said

"I knew they were ax murders" Maggie said looking at Harry.

"You smell good" Harry said hugging Maggie tighter.

“Save it"

"Well I guess we can go get the paint now" Summer said grabbing her keys, "Oh did you guys bring the extra shirts?"

"Yeah" I said holding up the shirts because I had somehow gotten Harry's shirt for Maggie. "Why do you need them?"

"We like all our clothes…" Maggie said taking both shirts from my hand and handing the one that was mine to Summer and headed towards the bathroom.

-----------Summer's POV------------

We bought the paint fairly quickly and we made the boys carry them up as Maggie and I carried the brushes up. We decided to paint my room first since we thought it would be the hardest one but it was actually pretty easy we even got glitter paint to go over it when it dries. Next we had to paint Maggie's room so we all chose a color and a wall and started painting.

"Summer can you hand me more....oops," as Maggie was talking her brush flung hot pink paint at my face and couple drops landed on my cheek.

I walked right up to her and dabbed my purple brush on her forehead.

"What was the for?" she over-dramatically asked.

"Payback" I replied with a smirk plastered on my face.

"Oh it’s on," Maggie grabbed her brush and flung it at me but I dodge it and it lands on Harry.

"Sorry babe" Maggie managed to say through giggling

"Oh it’s on...uh" Harry said

"You don't know my last name do you?"

"Yes I do it's uh uh…" he trailed off.

“Here I'll spell it for you," with that Maggie dipped her paint brush in the hot pink paint ad walked over to Harry and started spelling her last name on the back of his shirt.

"M-A-I-L-H-E-S, Mailhes" Maggie said dabbing her brush on Harry's cheek.

"Good to know" Harry said painting a heart on Maggie cheek in turquoise paint but accidentally getting some in Maggie's hair.

"You got some in my hair now it’s on!"

That started our paint war and poor Niall, he didn't know what was going on he just got caught in the crossfire. There was paint flying everywhere and it got all over us and the walls. Once we all got tired we sat down on the ground and looked at the room.

"I think there's paint in my nose" Niall said breaking the silence.We all burst out laughing.

"I have paint in my armpit how did that even happen" Harry said once it died down some.

"I have no idea, all I know us there is paint in my hair and that's not okay" Maggie said.

"Sorry about your walls" I apologize to Maggie. Maggie stood up and looked around the room there were random lines where we were starting to paint and then random splatters were everywhere from the mini paint-war.

"I know how to fix it" Maggie said. She went over to the wall she was painting and grabbed a roller brush. We all stood up to see what she was doing, as she put the roller into the hot pink paint and started from the bottom of the wall and painted straight up she did it again but at different heights so it started to look like a city skyline.

"That looks awesome," I commented.

"And now the splatters look like stars," Harry said amazed.

"Yeah now we just have to do that three more times" Maggie said, clearly exhausted.
