Invisible I
Plans
Harry. I knew it was him because, well, I recognized him. I groaned inwardly, and my stomach roared at me, telling me that if I left, I would have a stomach ache that would NOT be my friend.
I was seated and I picked up the menu that was in front of me.
"Hey, Carmella!" a familiar voice shouted. I looked up. It was Jaedyn.
I looked toward where Harry and his friends were sitting, and they had obviously noticed Jaedyn's loudness as well, and the boys were scanning the restaraunt, probably looking for me. Obviously they had found the culprit of all the noise, so they just needed to find me. The blond one saw me first, and he grinned at me before kicking Harry's leg. He pointed in my direction and said something, then Harry looked over at me. He smiled slightly, then got up after being hit and kicked several times by his friends and walked over to my table.
"Hello," he said.
"Hi," I answered, hiding my face in my menu.
"So, I was going to ask you this tomorrow, but my mates thought differently. Would you like to go on a date with me tomorrow?" he asked, pulling my menu away from me and setting it down on the table.
"Ummm... actually I'm busy tomorrow," I lied, hoping he wouldn't ask any more questions.
"Oh, really? That's disappointing. What are you doing tomorrow?"
I mentally hit my head on the table repeatedly. "Um... going to Starbucks," I said, which wasn't a lie.
"All day?" he asked, furrowing his eyebrows.
"Well, no, but..." I said, trailing off. "Fine. What would you have planned?"
"That would remain a surprise," he said, grinning. He has dimples. Oh. My. God. He has DIMPLES.
"Ugh," I said, literally banging my head on the table this time. "I hate surprises."
"Too bad," he said. "By the way, my mate recommends the peri peri chicken," he said, getting up. "See you tomorrow, Carmella.
I watched as he walked away. When he got back to his own table, his friends slapped him on the back and Harry turned to look back at me. I gave him a pitiful smile, and he turned back to his friends. When I looked forward again, Jaedyn was staring at me with her mouth wide open. She got out of her seat and walked over to my table, but thankfully a waiter came over to take my order first. Jaedyn was left waiting while I pretended to not know what to order, before finally just ordering the peri peri chicken and a water.
"Oh my God. Do you have any clue who you just spoke to?!" Jaedyn asked, sitting down in the seat across from me.
"Um, yeah. The waiter."
"No, silly! The boy! That's HARRY STYLES."
"Yep. I know his name. Now if you don't mind, I need to go to the bathroom, and I'd rather not have company in the stall with me. So you can go back to your own table now," I said, getting up and walking toward the bathrooms.
How did she know his name? I mean, I suppose that he's a regular, but she said his name like he was someone famous or something.
Weird.
