Chloe POV

My name is Chloe I am a normal girl but the only difference is I am deaf, I cannot hear anything but I can see everything clearly. The hardship that my mom had to endure with me, is a lot my father passed away four years ago from a heart attack.

My mom is my everything she has helped me through a lot in my life I know how hard, it is dealing with a deaf child I see my mom break down everyday and I cannot hear the reasons why.

I always cry myself to sleep because I cannot do anything to help my mom, with her sadness I don’t know what she is going through right now I don’t know what I can do to help her.

I go to a normal school but my teachers know that I am deaf so they would sit with me and explain to me the lectures. I am so grateful that my teachers are helping me, summer is over and I just started my first day of school today.

My mom came inside my room with a huge smile on her face, I jumped out of my bed and hugged her I didn’t want to let her go ever. It sucks that I have to leave my mom to attend school, but my mom told me good morning in sign language and she helped me get dressed up.

Me: “Mom I cannot hear anything from you but I know that you were crying this past couple of nights, I am always going to be here for you mom I promise I am sorry if I am deaf and I cannot hear anything you have to say but I want you to know I am here.”

Mom hugged me and I cried on her shoulders, God please guide my mother through whatever she is going through I want her to be safe at all times even if I am out to school and God I want our life to be happy again.
