It didn't feel right celebrating Christmas without Leticia here. But Harry Jr. was just so excited and we took him home to open his presents. But I could still tell he was upset. He tugged at my sirt and asked

"Daddy why is big sis asleep"?

"Because she's sleepy"

"Then can we go to the hospital and wake her up so she can come play with me"

"It doesn't work that way"

"Why not your the best doctor in the world you could wake her up"

"I'm sorry but we have to be patience if we want her to wake up"

He starts to cry I hate to see my children cry any parent would but it just breaks my heart to see that. I kiss the top of his head and he hugs me tightly wiping his tears on my shirt. I can't stand to see everyone like this. Especially Eleanor and Louis they're like zombies now I haven't seen Louis smile at all.

Nothing feels right.

I've been a doctor for years I know that being in a coma is anything but good. Some people wake up and can't remember anything others never wake up. It's a long waiting game..... one I thought I would never have to go through.

In a way I wish this is all a terrible nightmare and when I wake up Leticia will be down stairs with her mother and brother eating breakfast she'll be happy and hug me then head off to school. But it doesn't look like I'll be waking up so I"m trapped in this terrible nightmare.

~A week Later~

Leticia

Zayn and Perrie have stayed over night at the hospital for the week I've been here. I wish they would go home and stop worrying so much. Perrie tried to get Zayn to eat something but he left the entire sandwich there. He hasn't eaten or slept just because he's worried. A nurse walks in and scribbles on a clipboard then places her hand on Perrie's shoulder.

"You both should go home hun"

She's an older woman she's very sweet and kind.

"If something happens we want to be here"

"I understand that worried I'm a mother myself you and your husband should go home for a few hours I'll be here if she wakes up or anything goes wrong"

"I'm not her- we just"

"I have your cellphone number written down in case something happens we'll call"

She nods and stands up collecting her coat and purse. She shakes dad Zayn awake and they leave together holding hands. Dad Zayn looks exhausted I hope he gets to relax a bit at home.
The nurse exits the room so it's just me.

I take a seat in the chair Perrie was sitting in and look at myself there's bandages where the bullets impacted my skin and my eyes are closed. I basically look asleep I wonder if I'm ever going to wake up.

A really cute blonde boy walks by but stops when he see's the uneaten sandwich. He carrying a guitar with him. He has beautiful blonde hair perfect blue eyes and a smile any girl would faint by just seeing it. I've never seen anyone like him he's truly flawless.

He sets his guitar by a chair and grabs the sandwhich

"She's asleep I guess it's okay to eat it"

He says to himself.

He sits down and eats the whole sandwich in almost five minutes I've never seen someone eat that fast but while he was eating he looked at me like he was trying to focus or think about something almost concentrating. He must really have been hungry. When he's done he sits in the chair Zayn sat in and strummed his guitar so perfectly.

"That's it I know how to start the song"

he says to my unconscious body.

He continues to strum his guitar and he opens his mouth and begin to sing. I've never heard a voice so beautiful and perfect in my whole life he has the voice of angel.

"Am I asleep, am I awake, or somewhere in between? I can't believe that you are here and lying next to me or did I dream that we were perfectly entwined?
Like branches on a tree, or twigs caught on a vine?"

It the most beautiful voice/song I've ever heard in my life I wish it would never end. But the nurse walked in and says.

"Are you related to her"

"No just playing her a song"

"if I were you I'd make it snappy because her dads have a temper on'em"

He chuckles and says

"Alright"

"Niall the people in the lobby want you to play another song"

Niall the most beautiful name I've heard! Makes sense since he's beautiful himself.

"I'll go now but I'll be back"

He grabbs his guitar as he walks out he bumps into Perrie.

"Sorry ma'm"

"It's okay"

He walks out and disappears down the hall into the elevator.

I would do anything to hear more of his music it's truly the most flawless sound I've ever in my life heard.

Niall

I've been playing at the hospital lobby since my brother Greg was sent here after he broke his right arm . I realized how bored these people must be so I come by every couple of days and play some music for them. It calms a lot of people down and some even request songs.

Some of the nurses and doctors know me by name one including Mrs.Roulette an old retired nurse who works here for free. She's a very sweet lady.

Anyways I was walking to find her and I was starving I walked into a room with a beautiful girl my age was laying on the bed asleep but Mrs.Roulette mentioned she was in a coma. I ate a sandwich left on a table then I got inspired by just watching her.

I feel a little guilty by not finishing the song for her but I will next time I come it'll have to be when no one is around though. Mrs.Roulette mentioned she had protective dads with a temper and I don't want to ruffle any feathers.

I wonder if she heard any part of the song I played for her.

I hope she did because I play all my music from my heart.
