Hired For Harry

PAGE’S POV

“Oh by the way baby, I might have told someone on twitter that you’re pregnant.”


“You what?! I thought we agreed that we weren’t going to tell anyone just yet!” I yelled.


“I know and I’m sorry,” He whispered, “Someone on twitter called you chubby…and I was only defending my fiancé.”


My expression softened. “It was a nice gesture, Harry but management’s going to be pissed. They don’t even know about the baby.”


“I know,” He mumbled, “God. I screw everything up, don’t I? I’ve lost you so many times because of my screw ups.”


“Babe,” I sighed, “You haven’t lost me. I’m right here with you, aren’t I? And I’m carrying our child.” He nodded in response but he wouldn’t make eye contact with me, he kept his eyes on the road ahead.


“Harry. Stop the car and look at me!” I demanded.


The car came to a stop and Harry turned to look at me. I felt like crying when I saw his eyes brimming with tears. Harry hardly ever cried and when he did, it was on rare occasions such as this.


“Harry–––”


There was a loud beep coming from the vehicle on the right of us. There was no way out. We were trapped and even if there was a way out, we wouldn’t have enough time. A large pickup truck was heading straight for our direction. “Oh my god! Harry! We’re going to get hit!” I screamed, looking frantically into his eyes.


Harry unbuckled his seatbelt hastily and climbed over the drink compartment to get to me. He crawled up to me slowly and pulled me closer to him wrapping his arms around me. His embrace was warm, and his big, strong arms seemed very protective when wrapped around my frail body. The world around me melted away as I squeezed him back, not wanting the moment to end. “I love you and no matter what happens, I’ll always love you, okay baby?” He whispered. I nodded as tears welled up in my eyes. “Okay.”
