Page’s POV

~ 15 Minutes Later ~

“Hey.” I mumbled.

“Hey.” Ed smiled, a beautifully crooked smile.

“Sorry - I know I must look horrible right now.” I laughed nervously, bringing my knees to my chest.

“You look beautiful.” He assured me.

“Thank you.”

As promised, Ed came over as soon as he could.

He was sat across from me on the couch, while I sat in the recliner.

An awkward silence took over the room and I sighed inwardly, taking this as the opportunity to check him out.

His lips were drawn into a straight line, his eye brows furrowed as if he were deep in thought.

His red hair was tousled to the side on the top of his head, orange freckles scattered across his pale cheeks, and light blue eyes that stared off into space.

He was truly beautiful.

“Ed?”

He raised his head slightly, his eyes locking with mine. “Yeah?”

My heart fluttered as I held his intense gaze.

“How about dinner?” I smiled shyly, tucking a strand of my blonde hair behind my ear.

He gave me a puzzled look. “What about Harry?”

“He’s obviously moved on, so I think that it’s about time that I do the same . . .”
