"H-hey," Calum says immediately after I open the door. "Well, I feel under-dressed. Ah that's why I like you so much." Jenna gave me two thumbs up when Calum wasn't looking. "Shall we?" I take his arm and we leave the campus.
Loud city sounds surround us from the distance. Is it weird that I like the sound of traffic? I've lived in the city growing up, so I guess I've gotten used to the noises. When I first moved in, there was a fire a few blocks down and firetrucks came blaring their fucking sirens as if it wasn't three in the morning. They sorta had to, but, anyways, Jenna couldn't sleep so we spent all night talking, though at dawn I could barely keep my eyes open. And that was when Jenna and I became friends so I owe it to the firetruck and their damn loud sirens.

Calum took me to the parking lot where there were only about four cars. He headed toward one of them. The lighting made it hard to make out the colour or the logo but I could tell it was a convertible.

"Calum... Where are we going..?"

"A surprise is a surprise Deeliah."

I laugh and put my arms up, "Alright, alright."

We drove for a good half an hour to a.. should you call it a small mountain or a large hill? It overlooked the whole city. The best part was that you could literally hear the city fade away. There were no lights up there except from the sky and the city.

"Surprise!" Calum said in a preppy voice.

"Oh, my g-- It's amazing!" We both hop out and lean against the front of the car. It was so much to take in all at once. Everything is just so beautiful at the moment, I'm speechless.

We spent the whole night talking and time basically flew by. He has a sister named Mali-Koa and he knows Ashton too. I told him I didn't like soccer and he got a bit mad, but then hugged me when I told him I was kidding.

"What's your full name?" He suddenly asked even though we were on the subject of dairy products.

"Deeliah Cheese Trixton." I joke. "No, no, it's um, Deeliah Trixton."

"Well, hello, my name is Calum Hood." He introduces. "So, Deeliah, what's your middle name?" I shake my head. "I'm not telling you." Calum scoffs. "Fine, but if you tell me yours, I'll tell you mine."

Oh, what the hell. "Okay, on the count of three.. one, two, three!"

"Thomas." "Brent."

"Wa-wait a second. Brent?" He furrows his eyebrows.

"Shut up," I half yell half giggle. "My brother gave me my middle name. He originally wanted a brother but he got me, so then he got upset and my mom said that he could name me. Jody was what he came up with. Of course, my parents said no, but he could still give me a middle name. That's how I ended up with Brent. My mom's fault for listening to him. Oh, by the way, he was five when this happened."

"Nice story, Deeliah Brent Trixton," He teases.

"How would you like it if your sister, instead of Thomas, named you.. Edith?"

"I think it sounds quite sexy, don't you think?"

"Ah, huh, yeah, Edith,"

"Brent."

It was 12 when we got back. We tried to be as quite as possible when walking down the hall. Once we reached my room, I turned to him and said, "Thanks, tonight was great."

And, there it was. The moment when your eyes lock and you slowly lean in to kiss. I kept staring at him and he kept staring at me. He started to bend down as I started to stand on my tip toes. The hall was dim but I could feel his warm breath upon my upper-lip. This was going really slow but I didn't want to be that girl who forced a kiss. Our lips were four centimeters apart when we heard foot steps. Shit!

"Uh," Calum mumbles awkwardly as he pulls back. "I'll- I'll see you tomorrow." I bite my lip and nod. This close! I was this close!!

He manages to sneak a kiss on my cheek before running off to his room. My cheeks turned hot. Thank you darkness for hiding my face.

I slip in the door quietly and lean on it for a while. Oh, my god. I think I love him.

Yah!! So.. school is about to start (ew) so I'm gonna be making a schedule so that I can update. I was thinking every week..?? Anywho... hope y'all liked this chapter! It was really long, I know!!
