Braxton smiles and puts and arm around the empty chair next to him. Gesturing to Jenna to come over. A small part of me, at the bottom of my mind, thought that there was a chance she was going to sit next to me. But, of course, she sits next to him. I mean, who wouldn't? That's Brax Zyler.

She slides into the desk and places her books on the table quietly. Braxton taps her shoulder and whispers something into her ear and she blushes and adjusts her hair. Damn, she's sexy.

A knock on my door wakes me from replaying the times where Jenna almost noticed me. Who would be knocking on my door? I swing the door open.

"Uh, hey," The boy who was talking to Deeliah said. "You, you left a notepad behind in class." He hands my oldest notepad. I had it since High School, only, I don't use it for notes.

"Oh, thanks." I say dryly. "I'm Ashton by the way."

"Calum," He replies. I stare down at my notebook and frown a bit, if only people knew. "Hey, are you okay? You look a bit down."

"No, I'm fine." He and Deeliah have one thing in common, they actually care about my feelings. Wow, this feels different.

"I don't think you are," He argues in his New Zealander accent.

I just met him, should I be telling him that much? Oh hell with it, even if he tells people, I bet they'll be like who's Ashton? "Ah, uh, just, girl problems." By now, Calum is already in my room mate-less room, sitting on the empty bed beside mine. Man, that bed his so damn depressing.

"You could try standing out. Talk to her."

"Please," I scoff. "There is no way on Earth that's going to happen. She's her, and I'm me."

"Seriously," He said. "Get out more? Do something."

"Thanks," I say as I walk him out.

"Glad I could help."

He closed the door behind him and I plopped on my bed, almost hitting the headboard. Is he like my friend or something?

Agh, the teenage world. It's so complicated.
