Wishing On The Stars {c.h}

I sit on my bed, staring at the broken picture and sigh. Deeliah is my best friend, and friends can't just end like that. This is one depressing Saturday. I glance at her bed, which was neat and a clean shade of maroon, like always. Drops of water appear on the frame that I am still holding. Oh, I must be crying. Sometimes, this room is too sad to be in. This is one of those times.
I sprint out of the room, not bothering to shut the door at all, I just want to get out. As I run down the hall, I turn back to see a ray of golden light escaping from the open door. With tears running down my face, I turn back around, only seeing a shadowed figure getting closer. It's too late to stop, I smack into him, causing both of us to fall down.
"Aaah, ar-are you okay?" a male voice asked, even though I knocked him down.

"Yah, are you?"

He nods. His face turns, so it's under the light.

"Ashton?"

"Jenna? Are you really okay? You have tears in your eyes.

"I don't wanna talk about it." He respects my comment and helps me up.

"So, where you heading?"

"I don't know.." I sigh. "Hey, can I hang with you for, like, the day?"

Ashton chokes on his words a bit. "Y-e-a-h."

I look down. "So..."

"You can, um, come to my room. I mean, I have no roommate. That is, if you want to come."

"Yes, please, just anywhere but here."
