Being Carter Hood (5SOS)

"I want to slap the hell out of him!" I growl to Stella as we enter the restaurants bathroom. She noticed how heated I was and dragged me to the bathroom to cool off. Which was a smart thing to do in this situation. "I know you do, but not right now." She says while chuckling. I lean against the tile wall and let out a sad sigh. "Why?" Stella looks at me with sympathy when I say this. "I don't know, Carter.." She shrugs before giving me a hug. That question kept repeating in my head.. WHY do i have to like Michael?!..and WHY does he have to be such a jerk to me!?, but I still cant shake my feelings for him! JUST WHY do I have to want HIM instead of someone like Luke!?
"Are you ready to go back out now?" Stella sweetly asks me. I don't answer instead, I nod and we begin making our way towards the table. Everyone looks at us while we sit down. I don't dare to look at the jerk sitting in front of me. "You know what I hate?" Stella says kind of too loudly for some reason while she looks to me dramatically. "What?" I say in a confused tone. "I really hate rainbow right now!" Stella huffed with wide eyes. I instantly choke on my pepsi I was drinking from exploding with laughter. Stella and I were hysterically laughing. I laughed even harder when i noticed everyone at the table looking at us like we are crazy. Finally when we calmed down. I told Stella. "I hate rainbow too." After, I looked straight at Michael with the fakest smile on my face.

When we got back from lunch everyone decided to go into Calum and Michael's room to hang out since its the biggest room. Stella and I are sitting on the couch at the end of Calum's bed. Luke, Ashton, Michael, and Calum are sitting on the beds.As much as I would like to avoid Michael and stay in my hotel room. I shouldn't let his bad attitude get in the way of making good memories with everyone else. "Caaarrrrtttteeeerrrr!" Ashton yells from right behind Stella and I making both of us jump. "What!?" I yell. "Hi." He says in a calm voice, I glare at him. A couple minutes later Luke lets out a grunt and we all look at him. "I'm so bored! We should be partying!" He gasps. "Tell me about it." Calum mumbles. "I'm down to party." Shrugs Stella. "Yeah, but who's party? We don't know anyone who's having a party." Michael says. I role my eyes at his response while getting up and looking at them. "Are you serious? We don't need to go to someone elses party, to party. Your five seconds of summer. We can throw our own!" I yell excitedly to them. " I'm in!" Stella cheers before I give her a high five.
"We can't have one in the hotel." Michael glares at me like I was stupid for thinking this. I glare back. "Ever heard of a roof, idiot." Some people let out a short chuckle before Calum speaks. "Thats a great idea, sis. I'll call the hotel desk, but I'm sure it won't be a problem with them." My amazing brother shrugs while picking up his phone to call. While my brother is on the phone Ashton begins to talk with Stella. I notice Luke smiling at me and I smile back. He gets up from the bed and stands across from me. "Are you going to invite, James." He asks curiously. "I think so. Why?" at the corner of my eye I notice Stella looking at us with this expression and I'm not sure what it meant. "Maybe you shouldn't. I thought we could hang out tonight." He smiles at me making my attention go to his lip ring that I love. "Yeah of course. We can always hang out." I say. Someone lets out I cough and I look to my right seeing it was Stella trying to get my attention. She quickly excuses herself from Ashton and walks up to us. "Can I talk to you real quick?" I look at her weird before nodding, then she takes my arm and walks us quickly out the door and into the hall. "What!?" I whisper yell. "Do you not see what was happening in there?" She whisper yells back.
"What the hell are you talking about?" I ask."My brother!" Stella says, trying to give me a hint but I'm clueless. "He likes you!" She finally says. It took a while for me to realize what she just said. My facial expression went from confused to in denial then at shocked. "Are you are?" I whisper. "Carter! He basically just asked you out in there." She tells me. "Really?." I say suprised. She stops and looks at me. "Carter... Do you fancy my brother?" She says slowly. My mind does flips. "I-" The hotel room door opens just as I was about to tell Stella. "The hotel is fine with it." Calum grins at us. "Thats great! Do you mind if we just finish talking first?" Stella asks politely. He nods and shuts the door. I hear talking from the other side for a second then it stops. "You what?" She asks with what seemed liked mixed emotions. I decided to text this to her incase they were listening on the other side of the door. ' I could possibly have feelings for him in the future.. But not right now, with the stuff with Michael. I wouldn't want to start a relationship with him when I have strong feelings for someone else.' I type in my phone and held it up for her to read.. "I trust you not to hurt my brother." She says after reading it. "Thanks." We smile at eachother. I open the door to be soo thankful I type my confession since four bodies stumble out towards us. My eyes widen. "Jerks!" Stella yells. My eyes connect with Luke's. Stella just said that she trusts me not to hurt her brother. And luke just heard that. Crap...
"Don't worry we didn't hear anything bad." Says my brother then they all look at Luke, making me blush. He could've taken that anyway, but instead he decided to act like he didn't hear anything. Which is another thing im thankful for.
"Lets party!!" Ashton yells and we all cheer with him.
