Elena's POV: "Wow everything looks exactly the same," Harry said as we were driving around LA. "Well you haven't been gone that long." "I sure missed this place." I smiled and continued driving, thinking about where were going. "You mind if we stop by Damon's first? I haven't seen him in so long." "Not at all." ----- I knocked on the door waiting nervously for Damon to open up. "Who is it?" I heard him call out. "Special Delivery!" "You know you could have just left it on the-- ELENA!" "Hey!" He came up to me and picked me up in the air with a hug. "What are you doing here?!" he said placing me down. "We're on vacation." He finally noticed Harry and said, "Hey man, I'm Damon." "I know, I'm Harry. Pleasure to meet you." "Well come on in guys!" We walked in and I placed my bag on the table. "Everything still looks the same I see." "Well it wasn't that long that you left." "You two lived together?" Harry asked. "Uhh yeah..." "She didn't have money for a place of her own and our college was about a block from here so I offered her to stay here," he cleared. "It's not like we were strangers either, Damon and I knew each other long before that." "Ohh." Before anything got awkward I changed the subject. "So Damon were planning on staying for about 3 or 4 days. Do you think you have any time off to catch up?" "Mmm I'm not sure auditions were crazy--," he immediately shut his mouth. "Auditions?" He sighed and said, "It was supposed to be a surprise." "What?" "I auditioned for the role of Stefan's brother in The Vampire Diaries." "What! And?!" "And... I got the role." "Oh my gosh! Why didn't you tell me," I screamed giving him a hug. "I wanted it to be a surprise! And get this." "There's more?!" "They thought my name fit well with the character so I'm going to be playing Stefan's brother, Damon." "Damon's going to be playing Damon, nice." He laughed and said, "And I heard a little birdy also auditioned." "That birdy did, but never got a call." "I'm sure they'll call. You're an amazing actress. They've just been busy with the guys first." "I hope." Damon then looked at his watch and said, "Well I gotta get going, I have a meeting with the producer right now." "Alright well call me okay!" "I definitely will, thanks for stopping by! Nice to meet you man," he said to Harry. "Yeah same here." ----- "Stop the car!" Harry said scaring me. "Harry! What's wrong?" He pointed out the window to a bar called "The Spot." "What about it?" "You don't remember?!" "Remember?" "Park the car." I did what he said and parked the car in front of the bar. "Come on." "Where are we going?" "To recreate the past." I was so confused but got out of the car and walked in the bar with Harry. We sat in a booth and everything slowly came back to me. The music, the photos on the wall, the booths. I immediately smiled and Harry said, "Now you remember?" "The day we actually started getting along," I said while laughing. "We came here after your friend and my friend left us at the party." "We were both third wheels, it was embarrassing," I said while laughing. "True, but you gotta give them both credit," he said placing his hand on mine. "Credit for?" "Getting together." "We should give credit to them for getting together? Why?" "Because we never would have met each other." I smiled and gave him a kiss. "I'm proud to say I was a third wheel." I laughed and a waitress then came to our table. "Can I get you two anything?" "Oh no we were just--." "Can we get some hot wings please, oh and a lot onion rings and two Beers." "Alright I'll be right back with your order." "Thanks." "Looks like we're eating here." "We just ate pancakes," I said laughing. "But I'm still hungry." "You have the appetite of a bear." "A cute bear?" "No." "No?" I nodded and said "A sexy bear." "Cheesy but ill accept it." I laughed and our waitress immediately came with our food and drinks and we dug in. ----- It was almost midnight. Yes we spent the entire day at this bar talking and remembering about the past. But it was still a fun day. "Elena go up there!" "What? For the karaoke thing? Oh heck no!" "Come on love do it for me." "Yeahhhh... No" "Alright who's up next?!" said the host. "Over here!" Harry yelled immediately causing eyes to turn. "Harry no!" "Well looks like we got a taker folks! Come on up here beautiful!" I looked at Harry and he was laughing. "Ugh i hate you." I got up and walked on stage. "What's your name lovely." "Elena." "Well Elena you got a song in mind by any chance?" I thought about it for a second but instead i figured out a perfect plan said, "How about we make this a duet." "Ohhhh now she wants to makes things feisty." The crowd cheered. "A duet it is! Pick your partner." "Hmmm who to chose?" I joked. "Harry..." He looked at me and rolled his eyes with a smile. "Would you please come up here." He got up and on the stage and the guy handed him the mic. "Nice move." "Hey you put this on yourself," I laughed. "Alright everybody time for a duet!" The crowd cheered once more and the host left the stage. The music started playing and I knew the song right away.
