Harrys POV: Finally back home in London! I walked into my flat which I had bought a couple months ago and laid on the bed. I didn't have anything planned for the rest of the day so I thought about calling Elena. I was still in process mode that we're going to spend the entire week together but I hope everything goes great and we get closer. Simon was supposed to call this weekend and let me know if I was able to break it off with Taylor or not. I've been avoiding her for the past days because I really didn't want anything to do with her but we'll see how this all goes. Gosh I hope I Simon says yes, I've been freakish out about this here. I wanted Elena back, i missed being able to call her mine. Shes so down to earth and beautiful. We have such amazing connection and she has a really fit body i mean cone on! And I had her all to myself! She was mine, i planned on marrying the girl for crying out loud, yes thats right i did. We would have never broken it off if it wasn't for Taylor. Why is this all just so messed up! To the point where I'm even talking to myself! Great.. I dialed Elena's number and called her before I over thought anything else. "Hey curly," she said making a smile appear on my face. She would always call me that in high school, it just brings back good memories. "Hey Ella." "Oh gosh Ella? I haven't heard that name since high school." I laughed and said, "What are you up to?" "Just getting ready for--." "She immediately stopped what she was about to say and I was curious. "Getting ready for what?" Elena's POV: "Getting ready for what?" Oh my gosh did I really just say that? Should I tell him Elena? Would he hate me? Of course he wouldn't Elena. But he'd still be upset? I think? Maybe? I don't know. "Hello? Elenaaa?" "Sorry I dozed off for a second." "It alright, you have any plans tonight?" Here it goes. "Yeah I umm-- I actually have a date.." "Oh.. you do?" "Yeah." "With who? If you don't mind by me asking." "Jack." "Jack?" "Yeah." "The guy from the--." "Yeah, that's him." "Oh.. Wow I didn't know that umm--" I could hear his voice cracking and I wasn't sure why. "I guess I should let you get ready then." "No it's okay, umm I'm practically done just waiting now. But we're you planning on doing something?" "What do you mean?" "Well you called and asked about plans so I just assumed that you wanted to--." "Oh no I just wanted to know if your flight went well and just make sure you're okay." I could tell he was lying, I know him to well. "Oh well thanks that's really sweet. I'm fine, the flight was long and I'm pretty tired but I'll manage." "Well just make sure you don't drive and if you need anything just call me okay." "I'll remember that." "Okay well have a great date Elena." "Harry?" "Yeah?" Harry's POV: "Harry?" "Yeah?" She stood in silence for a couple seconds while my heart pounded. "Listen.. these past weeks have been really great and I just-- I can't help but have this feeling that you have been hiding something from me. Like you've been meaning to tell me something and its crazy i know but I just --- want to know if I'm right or not." Oh crap, how does she know? Should I tell her that I miss her and I want her back? But she's going on a date tonight. What if she really likes Jack? I can't ruin things for her. I don't want to be the selfish guy. "Elena... I don't have anything to say really." The moment stood silent for a second. "Alright, I should probably get going then." I'm sorry Elena, but I can't be selfish with you, which is why I have to let you go... You deserve better. "Have a nice night. Umm ill pick you up tomorrow morning so we can head over to mums?" "Yeah, okay." "Goodbye Elena." "Bye Harry." As she ended the call I stood lying on my bed as tears escaped my eyes. I was too late, she already found someone new. There's nothing I could do anymore besides be only a good friend to her. I stayed in my room for the next few hours playing my guitar as I was working on a new song and wondering what Elena and Jack were doing at the moment. Elena's POV: After the phone call with Harry, Jack showed up knocking on my door a couple minutes after. I was upset over the fact that Harry didn't feel the same way I felt but I had to get over it sooner or later maybe this date will help after all. "Well don't you look lovely," said Jack as I opened the door. I blushed and said, "Thank you, you look pretty clean yourself." Clean? Smoothhhh... He laughed and said, "Come on, let's get going. Don't wana waste time." ----- We've been driving in his car for over an half an hour and he still hasn't said anything about where we were heading. "Is it a restaurant?" "Nope." "A play?" "No." "Is it a Strip Club?" He laughed and said, "Why would I take you to a Strip Club? Especially on the first date?" "Tell that to one of my ex boyfriends." "Well I'd never do that, or even go into those clubs. They're so wrong." "Finally someone agrees with me! Now will you tell me because I'm getting anxious here!" "Just be patient love we're almost there." I still haven't gotten use to Jack calling me love since it was only Harry who really says that to me. Okay stop! I can't think of Harry tonight, not anymore! "Here we are. Close your eyes." "Just so you know I hate surprises." "Oh don't be a party pooper." He helped me out of the car and we started walking for a bit. "Okay now on the count of three you can open them." "I'm waiting!" "One." "Two," he said as I could feel him scooting closer. "Three," he said exotically right beside my ear causing goosebumps to appear on my skin. I opened my eyes and saw this beautiful table set up on a huge boat in the water. "Wow, it's so beautiful." "I'm glad you like it, come on." We got on the boat and he opened my chair for me to sit. I took a good look around and was really impressed with how everything was decorated. Jack really went all out for this first date. "Wow, you do this to all the girls you attract." "Actually.. you're the first I've done this for," he confesses. "You're kidding right?" He nodded his head no and I said, "Well I'm honored, Jack this is really amazing.. Thank you." All of a sudden some violin players came out and started playing some soft music. Jack got of his seat and held his hand out. "May I have this dance?" "You may," I said blushing as I grabbed his hand and we started dancing. We stood quite as we moved back and forth until Jack said, "Elena?" "Yeah?" I looked up at him and could sense he was nervous. "I uhh have something for you." "You do?" He nods his head and takes out a small blue box from his pocket. "Don't worry it's not an engagement ring." He opened it and I saw a beautiful diamond heart necklace and I was in complete shock. "Elena.. I've known you for well over 6 months now but I feel like I've known you for years. You're everything any guy would ever dream of having. What I've always dreamed. You're funny, can act like an idiot sometimes but you're so down to earth and crazy beautiful. I guess what I'm trying to say is.. Elena Rose Valentine.. will you be my girlfriend?" Everything was happening so fast. I wanted to say yes but for some reason my heart was saying no.... But I ignored it. "Yes."
