Harry's POV: "Rise and shine sleepy head!" said Louis as he walked in my room. I groaned and covered the duvet over my face. "Oh come on lazy ass get up. We have to start packing!" Today was the day we go on tour and the boys were so excited. Elena hasn't came back to work and I doubt she will now. I haven't heard from her since I called her a couple days ago and I've missed her already. "Harry, come on! Get up!" "Ughh five more minutes." I then hear footsteps walking out the door and thought Louis had left. A couple minutes later the lads pushed me off the bed and they started to laugh. "Ok I'm up," I said in surrender. "Good cause we have half an hour before we go." "Alright." ----- We made it to the tour bus and we started unloading the drivers car with our luggages. I can't believe we're about to leave everything and everyone here in London. We had all already said goodbye to everyone the day before, I was hoping to see Elena and say goodbye as well but Lou had told me she was busy yesterday but she wouldn't tell me what she was doing. Which made me question if she was with Jack that's why she didn't want to tell me. My only hope now is that she knows that I'll miss her. When all the luggages were put inside, we then entered the tour bus. Niall and Liam sat on the couches, Zayn was on his phone talking to his girlfriend and Louis was on twitter. I walked to the back where there was a huge bedroom and I saw Lou sitting on the bed with Lux. "Hey Lou." She instantly looked up and smiled and said very loud, "Oh Harry! Hi!" I looked at her in a confused tone wondering why she was talking so loud, "What's up?" "Just the usual but Harry love could you please grab me some napkins in the restroom." "Yeah sure." I walked in the restroom and saw the napkins on the counter top. Right when I was about to grab one somebody behind me screamed "HARRYYYY!" so loud which made me fall on the floor. When I looked over I saw Elena on the ground laughing so hard. "ELENA!" She couldn't answer, she just kept laughing. "Oh my god," I said in relief it wasn't another crazy fan. Lou then came in and she was laughing too. "You set me up!" "She made me!" "I got you so good!" "I almost had a heart attack love! What are you even doing here?" She smiled and said, "You didn't think you guys were going on tour without me did you?" I instantly smiled and picked her up for a hug, lifting her feet off the ground. "I'm so happy your coming!" She laughed and said, "I know I know, Harry Styles just can't seem to cope without his best friend." I smiled and when I was about to reply I saw an eyelash on her face. "You have an eyelash right under your eye," I said. "Huh?" She tried to wipe it off but she couldn't seem to get it. "Here, let me love." I slowly grabbed the eyelash and took it off & noticed that her eyes were extremely blue today. "What?" she said noticing that I was staring at her. "Your eyes." "My eyes?" "They're beautiful." She blushed and looked down. "Umm we should probably go with the other boys. They have no clue I'm here." I nodded and we walked to the front of the bus where the boys were at. Elena saw as they were all just sitting down being lazy and she quickly said out loud, "This is your first day on tour and you guys are just sitting around?" The boys immediately turned there heads and yelled, "Elena!" when they saw her. They all ran up & tackled her into a massive group hug. She started laughing and I joined in as well. All the boys kept talking at once asking Elena a bunch of questions, they were all happy she came. Louis then kept messing around and moved the group hug side to side. "Woahhh! There we go," he said and we all fell on the floor. We all laid there laughing for a couple minutes then we helped each other up. I held my hand out for Elena and she grabbed it and I helped her up. "Thanks." "No problem." ----- "I'm so happy you're here!" said Niall plopping down on the couch next to Elena. "I would never let you guys leave without me. I mean traveling around the world, visiting new places everyday and doing something I love doesn't come around often," said Elena. "Plus If I wouldn't have came my boss would of killed me." I laughed along with Niall and I said, "Well best part is you get to spend these next months with us!" "Ughhh," she said. "What torture." "Hey! I said and threw a pillow at her hitting the side of her head. "I'm kidding! These next months are going to be unforgettable." "Well we can't start it off with an empty tummy!" said Niall. Elena laughed as he got up and walked over to the fridge. I then got up from where I was sitting at and sat next to her. She was sitting criss crossed applesauce with the pillow i threw at her on her lap. We stared at each other smiling for a couple of seconds and just laughed for no reason. "Your so weird," she said while laughing. "So are you." She then grabbed a strand of her hair and pretended it was a mustache and said, "Now who are you calling weird?" I laughed and took out my phone from my pocket. "Say cheese!" I told her. She then smiled and I laughed as I took the picture of her. I logged onto my twitter and posted the picture. I then hear Elena's phone vibrate and she checked her notifications. She immediately started smiling and I see her tapping on her phone. Not to long after my phone vibrated as well and I saw that Elena had replied to my post on twitter. "@harrystyles Im not the only weirdo on this bus!" "@ElenaValentine You're right... Niall can get pretty odd at times." "@harrystylees You know who I was talking about silly!" "@ElenaValentine Shush & go make me a sandwich before I throw another pillow at you!" The fandom on Twitter started going crazy just because of Our conversation on twitter so we stopped just in case. ----- It was getting dark & we still had a long way to go. Our first stop was in Denver then Seattle then we kept going on from there. We decided to stop to get something to eat for dinner and we ended up finding a Denny's close by. We walked inside and thankfully there was nobody in there but the workers and an old couple. "Can I get you guys a table?" a worker asked. "Yes please, there's 8 of us," said Elena. "Right this way." We all sat down on one huge booth while Lux on a baby chair. "I'm starving!" said Niall. "Your always starving," said Elena and we all laughed. Everyone got into their own conversations with each other and I turned to Elena. "What are you getting love?" "Pancakes," she said with a smile. I laughed and asked, "You always get pancakes here don't you?" "Of course! You know I love pancakes!" "Since High School." She smiled and nodded at me, "Since high school. "Remember we would always sneak out in the middle of the night & come to Denny's to eat and we'd always mess around. I smiled remembering all those good memories. "Yes, that was always fun! All the workers knew us and you'd always end up having a whipped cream mustache after drinking your hot coco." "You can never end a night well without hot coco Harry." I laughed and suddenly a waitress came by to take our orders. She seemed a bit nervous and she kept stuttering so my guess was that she was a fan. ----- "Hot coco!" Elena shouted in excitement as the waitress brought her drink. She took a sip of it an there it was, her whipped cream mustache. The whole table suddenly laughed at her and I took my phone out again, but this time I logged on to my Vine account. I went around the group taking short clips of them posing and I saved Elena for last. "Say I love Coco!" She turned to the camera and yelled out, "Im coco for hot coco!" She grabbed some whipped cream off of her face and whipped it on mine. "Your so lucky this is good!" I told her. Elena then laid her head on my shoulder laughing and that's how the video ended. I then posted it up. "Denny's with the people you love is always the best." After I posted it the food arrived and we started digging in. ----- We all finished eating & we sat there for another 2 hours just joking around and laughing. It was almost 2 in the morning & we all had to head back to the bus. We each payed for our own meal & headed out and I saw Elena still inside as she was about to pay for hers. I walked back in & then pulled out my card from my wallet and handed it to the cashier. "Here put it on mine." The cashier nodded & swiped my card. "Harry!" Elena said looking at me. "I could of payed for it." "It's okay love, my treat." She smiled and said, "Well thank you, that's really sweet." I smiled and the cashier gave my card back to me an handed me the recipe. "Have a good night you two," he said. "Oh we're not dat--." "Thank you," said Elena before I could finished talking. I looked at her and we both smiled at each other and walked out of the resturant. "So what was that all about?" I asked her as we were walking towards the bus. "What do you mean?" "Well I was about to let him know that we weren't dating but you cut me off?" "Oh... well I just-- wanted to get to the bus already. I'm pretty tired." I could tell she wasn't telling the truth because she wasn't a very good liar but I just nodded my head. "After you," I told her as I let her get on the bus first. "Thanks." ----- It was almost 3 now and everyone already had fallen asleep but Elena and I stayed up and we both sat on the floor by the couches watching a movie with a blanket and some pillows but we were mostly talking. "So what do you plan to do after the tour ends?" I asked her. "Well I'm not sure." "I might move back to LA with Damon." "Damon?" "He's just a close friend," she said assuring me. "Oh, so your not staying in London?" "Well I'd love to but I don't know what I'd be doing here or where I'd live." "Don't you have a flat already in London?" "That's only temporary & I'm not paying for it." I sighed and she could tell already I was upset. "Why so serious?" she said and I laughed. "Whats wrong?" "Well... I just got you back in my life but only for a short amount of time. Then when all this ends.. you'll be gone forever." "Well we don't know that for sure, but for now we'll just have to make each day count." I smiled and extended my arm out as he scooted closer leaning her head on my shoulder and her hand playing with my arm hair. After a while of silence I then had a thought come across my mind and I had to ask her. "Be honest with me okay?" "Okay.." "Were you.. even planning on coming back?" She took a while to answer but she did. "At first, no. The thought didn't cross my mind, I was going to go back to LA and just try to find another celebrity to work with I guess." "So what made you change your mind?" "The day we ran into each other at El Mezios, a couple days before the tour. We were both just sitting outside by the lake talking." "Yeah?" "Memories like those and the ones we had back in High School are ones I never want to forget about. And that day made me realize that even though I was upset or mad at you. I didn't want to just let you go, your the closest person I've ever had in my life & also the boys are like family to me, I didn't want to just leave everything and everyone here. You guys mean a lot to me, sadly." I hit her playfully and she laughed. Silence rose again but it was only for a short amount of time. "Elena, there's something you should know.. about me & Taylor," I said. She crunched her eyebrows together in confusion and sat up to look at me. "What do you mean?" I took a deep breath and told her the truth. "It's not real?" "What's not real?" "The relationship." "Huh?" "The day of the show, when Simon called me he told me that he had figured out a way to draw more attention and fans to one direction & that was having me be in a relationship with Taylor. But we're not really in one..." "You mean.. Its fake?" "Yeah, none of it is real." "So? The night that you stood out of my hotel room? That's what you were trying to tell me?" "Yeah." "Wow," is all she could manage to say. "Wow?" "Well I feel like a total bitch now." I laughed and said, "Don't love, your not its my fault I should have never agreed to any of it." "Well why don't you just get out of it then?" "I can't at least not until after New Years." "Why not?" "I don't know I guess that's the time they think it should end." "Oh." "I'm sorry Elena." "Why?" "Well because.. I ruined everything.." "Harry, it's alright just be with Taylor." "But you & I--." "I know, we had something going on between us and it was nice but you can't get out of this relationship at least not until after New Years and thats not for another couple months. It's fine. We could still be friends & maybe.. after its all over we can start off where we ended?" I smiled and said, "I'd like that." "Friends?" she said. "Best friends." She smiled and scooted back over to me and pulled the blanket over us. I wrapped my arm around her and before she fell asleep she turned to me and kissed me on the cheek. "Goodnight Harry." I smiled and said, "Goodnight Elena." We both soon fell asleep.
