Prologue
Kaydance's P.O.V
"dad don't leave" I yelled.
"I'm leaving and that's that" he argues back.
he hands me my screaming sister Brooklyn and hugs me and hands me an iPhone.
"phone me if you need anything and I will always love you and I promise I will send money and visit you" he said.
he picks up his bag and leaves the door. There was a brief silence and then mom and Brooklyn both started crying.
i knew that I would have to be the parent.
-4years later-
he still hasn't kept his promise he hasn't sent one penny for me or Brooklyn and he hasn't visited us or answered his calls. I got a new iPhone and changed from that innocent 13 year old. Mom is on deaths door and now I'm the bad girl of the local school. I have to look after Brooklyn and mom only my best friend of 13 years River-Rose (her parents are nature freaks) knows my true story
