You and I (Niall Horan Fanfiction)

Niall's POV

Today we were going to be playing another concert. I had a surprise for Connie. She has an amazing voice and I want everyone to know that. Before Little Things, I'm going to ask her to come on stage with me to sing with us. Plus, she's going to play guitar for it too. I wonder how she'll react.

I woke up and got ready. We had to do sound check and everything to prepare for the concert. The whole day I just played it cool. She had no idea I was planning this. inside, I was really excited that she as going to sing. I told management and the boys, they were fine with it.

Before the concert, I was in my dressing room getting ready.

"I'm a little nervous for tonight." I said.

Connie looked shocked. "You've done many concerts. Why are you nervous this time?"

"I don't know." I said, but I did.

"Well, you'll be fine as always. I'll be watching from the crowd by the way." She said as she kissed my cheek.

The concert was about to start. Connie, Eleanor, Sophia and Bernice were in the crowd watching.

The whole night was going great and the crowd was amazing tonight as well! When it got to Little Things, I grabbed the microphone and said,

"Guys, before we start Little Things, I wanted to change it up a bit." I said.

The fans screamed.

"I would like to bring up someone so special to me and when I'm with her, I am the most happiest person in the world." I said.

The fans screamed even louder.

Connie's POV

Niall grabbed the microphone and started speaking into it.

"Guys, before we start Little Things, I wanted to change it up a bit." He said.

What were they planning? Maybe that's why he was nervous.

"I would like to bring up someone so special to me and when I'm with her, I am the most happiest person in the world." Niall said.

My mouth dropped and I was so scared.

"I wanted her to join us in singing Little Things because she is an amazing singer and guitar player as well." Niall said.

Oh my gosh. He's going to make me go on stage with them and sing. I told him I was scared to sing in front of people. There wasn't like a small crowd of people either, it was like the whole stadium, filled with thousands of screaming fans. My hands were starting to shake.

"I would like to bring my lovely girlfriend, Connie on stage." Niall said.

The girls pushed me towards the stage as I struggled. I gave in and went up the stage.

It was so bright and there were so many people.

I got up on stage and Niall kissed me on the cheek.

The fans started screaming.

Niall handed me a guitar and said in a soft voice, "You'll be fine. I'll be here right with you." He grabbed my hand and squeezed it for reassurance.

The song started playing and I started playing the guitar. I wonder when he wanted me to sing.

When it came to Niall's part, Niall mouth that we would be singing together.

"Look at me, pretend there's no one else in the room but us." Niall said.

I nodded, gently.

We were both playing guitar and staring at each other in the eyes. I felt calm and I wasn't that nervous anymore.

Niall kissed me on the lips.

The fans screamed the loudest this time.

I smiled and realized how blessed I am to have him.
