Connie's POV

It's been a week since I've seen Niall. I did some major thinking this past week. I feel like I'm so vulnerable that anyone could take advantage of me. However, I always believed people deserve second chances. He has done so much for me and he seemed genuinely upset about this whole thing.

I got many calls and texts from him this week, but I ignored all of them. I felt badly about that. This whole week, I spent some time with Evan just as friends. We hung out a lot and it really got my mind off of things. We spent some time catching up and just hanging. No, I do not have feelings for him, he's just a good friend.

Niall's POV

It's been a week since I have seen Connie. Everyone knew that I was feeling down and not myself. I tried texting and calling her, but she wasn't answering. Good thing we had a three day break starting tomorrow. Tonight after the concert, I'm going to catch a flight to Toronto to see her.

After the concert, I left immediately. I told the boys and my suitcase was already packed. I asked Paul to drive me to the airport.

When I got there, there were a lot of fans. I really wanted to stay for a while to say hello, but I needed to talk to Connie.

I got onto the plane as the plane took off.

Connie's POV

The next morning was a Saturday. I asked Evan if he wanted to come over and hang out for a bit. At 11 a.m., Evan knocked on the door. I let him in and we just hung out the whole day. I told Evan that I was going to shower because I felt disgusting and that I'll be done in 20 minutes.

Evan's POV

Connie told me she was going to shower and that she'll be done in 20 minutes. I didn't mind, I just hung around her kitchen and ate some of her food. All of a sudden I heard the doorbell rang.

Niall's POV

I got into a car that I rented and drove to where Connie lived. I approached her door and rang the doorbell. It was Evan who answered the door.

"What are you doing here?" Evan asked.

"I'm here to see Connie because I think we need to talk to each other." I said.

"Well, I don't know if she wants to talk because you hurt her pretty bad." Evan said.

"Well, that's not really up to you is it? This is between Connie and I, so stay out of it." I said.

Connie's POV

I finished showering and getting ready. I was just about to walk downstairs when I heard Evan talking to someone.

"What are you doing here?" Evan asked.

"I'm here to see Connie and I think we need to talk to each other." I said.

Niall's here?

"Well, I don't know if she wants to talk because you hurt her pretty bad." Evan said.

"Well, that's not really up to you is it? This is between Connie and I, so stay out of it." I said.

"Stop arguing." I said.

They both turned.

"Evan, can I talk to you for a second? Hold on Niall." I said as I closed the door on him.

I turned to Evan.

"It's okay Evan, I want to hear what he was going to say." I said.

"I don't like seeing you hurt. Even after the incident between us, I still feel really bad."

"No, it's fine. I forgive you."

"Connie, you don't understand. There's so much more I have to tell you." He said.

"What did you need to tell me?" I asked since I was curious.

Evan took a deep breath.

"It hurts seeing you like someone else when I really like you." Evan said.

I was surprised. Evan and I never really talked about this since we talked on the phone.

I sighed and said, "I'm sorry Evan. I think we both should move on from the past. I just wanted to let you know that I've liked you as well. You really made a huge impact on my life. You're an amazing guy and I'm sure any girl is lucky to have you. I was just going to tell Niall that I forgave him because he's the one I have feelings for."

"It's fine, Connie. I support your decision. You're my best friend." Evan said.

"You're my best friend too." I said as we both hugged.

"I guess I'm going to leave and let you and Niall talk for a bit." Evan said.

He leaned in to kiss my cheek and left. I was staring at the ground for a minute. I feel so bad.

I looked out the door and realized I needed to Niall as well.

"So, Niall, what's up?" I said in a soft voice.

"Connie, I'm so sorry. That kiss meant nothing and I was a bit drunk. You mean the world to me and I would hate to see you leave. Please forgive me. I love you and it would hurt so much if you left me." Niall said.

"Why did you have to do that to me? Don't you know how much it took for me to move on because I started having strong feelings for you?" I said in a shaky voice.

"I know, but you need to believe me. You're the one I want to be with and I'm sorry I made that poor decision even when I was drunk." He said in a sincere voice.

I could see tears were about to form. I looked at him and scanned his eyes.

"Please forgive me. Please. I don't want to leave until I know you forgave me." He pleaded a bit.

"I forgive you." I said.

Niall looked at me for the longest time.

"I love you Connie." Niall said.

I had a small smile on my face.

"I love you too." I said.
