You and I (Niall Horan Fanfiction)

Connie's POV

It's been a week and a half since Niall left. I miss him. Every day, we would text, call each other and Skype when he had some time. It still doesn't feel the same though. I wish he was here by my side. I was in my room and on my laptop when someone knocked on my bedroom door.

"Hey Connie, it's almost time to eat dinner." My mom said.

“Yeah! It’s almost food time!” My dad said.

"Oh, alright. I'll be downstairs in 5 minutes." I said.

"What wrong? You seemed upset for the past week." My mom said.

Leave it to my mom to know something was wrong about me. I'm glad my mom and I have a good relationship now. Dealing with everything in the past really ruined our relationship and I thought it could never be fixed. I didn't know If I should tell her about Niall yet, but I think she should know.

"Mom and dad, I'm sort of dating someone..." I said while dragging my words.

"Really? Who is he?" My mom said. My dad was shocked as well.

"His name is Niall. Long story short, remember how I went to the One Direction concert with Bernice? We were trying to find a way to see if we could meet them and Niall accidentally slammed the door in my face." I said.

"WHAT?!" My mom said.

"Now mom, I think you should give him a chan-" I said.

"He slammed the door on your face?!" My mom said and then jokingly laughed.

"Wow, thanks mom." I said.

“Well, we have to meet him!” My dad said.

My mom laughed. "Well, first of all, does your head still hurt? And second of all, I would love to meet him if he comes back to visit." My mom said.

"Yes my head is fine and he is coming back for the weekend to visit!" I said.

"Perfect. Invite him over for dinner." My mom said.

Thankfully, my parents were pretty chill about this whole thing. Now, I can't wait until he comes back!
