I Did This For You. (36th Chapter)
Evelyn's POV:

“We are waiting for your answer, Miss Rider.” The judge reminds me, as I nod at him with respect. “(I whisper in Harry’s ear) Please don’t hate me.” I don’t give Harry the chance to reply, as I quickly stand up; walking towards the judge.
“I ask for what can’t be bought with money. I ask for forgiveness, since I do not want him to hold a grudge on his son. I want him to swear that he won’t let Harry leave his house. And that he will proceed in paying his university fees. I have no personal interest or any desires. All I ask is for the father and the son, to stay a family; since they only have each other. This world is endless, and our lives as humans are short, so why would we need to spend it hating and holding grudges? I want Desmond to swear in front of you, that his relationship with his son wouldn’t chance; when we step outside of this room.”
I huff my breath, since I have finally let out my only wish to be granted. The judge’s lips are parted, and his eyes are staring at me in wonder. “For all the years that I have judged in my life, I never met someone asking for something selfless and humane as a repay. (He smiles) Miss, Rider may the lord bless your heart. (He looks at Desmond) You heard the lady, Mr. Styles. I need you to swear on what she requested, and I will personally let you sign legal papers that have prove that you swore to forgive your son. If by any case you did not keep him in the house, or nurtured him till he graduates; you will be punished by the law. Now please, stand up and swear.” I walk back to my seat, in order to rest down; but something made my mind spin.
His jade eyes are swirled with redness, while the produce silent threads of tears on both his cheeks; cascading down in complete muteness. I place both hands on each cheek of Harry’s brushing his sensitive tears away; erasing the emotional paint of my delicate artist.
“(I whisper so I won’t be heard, while sitting down beside him) Harry, why are you crying? Please don’t, I beg you. I’m doing this for you.” He shakes his head, in order for me to drop my hands from his cheek. “I swear that I will not hold any grudges against my son. And I will proceed in being a providing parent until he graduates.” The judge nod’s in satisfaction, while he hands Desmond the paperwork for both my divorce and the for my needs to be guaranteed.
“Court dismissed. I will be sending you the certificate tomorrow, Miss Rider. You are now a free woman.” At the ending of the judge’s happy claim, Harry stands up and storms out of the court room. I give the judge an apologetic look, before I rush to the outside. I try my best to hurry my heels (http://www.polyvore.com/judging_classics/set?id=129484950&lid=3755600), trying to catch up with Harry’s fast pace.
I place my hand on his shoulder, begging him to look at me. His boots stop from walking, once he feels my hand on his shoulder. “Harry, I did this for you. I want you and your father to be a family, just like you were before I came in the picture. Please Harry, talk to me?” He turns his head, as his eyes dart at me in the most confusing look. He seems to be scared, heartbroken, and angry with me; but why?
“(His voice shakes, as his eyes blink the tears that want to fall again) You don’t want me anymore? Is that why you want me to go back to the mansion? Evelyn, why would you do this to us?” I directly answer: “Harry I did it for you, and I never said I would leave you. All I said in there is for you and your father to retain your relationship. That didn’t mean I want to leave you. Please just, let me hold you to prove that I won’t leave you?”

Okay we can all dance and jump together since Evelyn is now free! :D As for my notes, I want to clear some points that you might/ might have not gotten properly. Harry went to see Evelyn's mother, and then she gave him the address of her gynaecologist. He went to the clinic and asked for Evelyn's files, and he also requested from the doctor to get his briefcase and join him in the court hearing; in case the judge asked for immediate proof (Y) As for Evelyn, when she was asked about her needs (which every woman gets when she is being legally divorced), she chose to give it to Harry <3 She did this to keep his father and him together, but she never mentioned that she wants to leave him. Harry, as you already know, is fast in false estimations (Y) That's why he was crying, because he thought Evelyn doesn't want him anymore; which is completely the opposite. Evelyn wants Harry to live his life with his father, but she also wants him to stay with her <3 (Y) Let's hope that Harry understands and realises the truth of Evelyn's intentions, in tomorrow's chapters.
