I push Harry’s chest slowly, making him depart his lips from mine. “(I breathe in sadness) Harry, this isn’t going to be the solution to any problem. I love you with all my heart, but Harry we need to talk. I massively need you with me through everything that’s going on right now. I am doing this because of us, because I don’t us to suffer any longer. Are you getting the point?” He nods in understanding, while he sits down beside me.




“I’m sorry for what Regina said. She just has a big mouth and thinks that she is on top of the rest of the humans on this earth. (He brushes his thumb over my lips, tracing them in tender) Evey, you should have told me that you wanted me around. I wouldn’t have done any plans, if I knew. (He sighs) I promise that nothing will be done, until we fix this. (He smiles dashingly, popping his glorious dimples on each side) Everyone else left, and I guess Mrs. Higgins will inform Zayn to leave as well. How about we have an early bedtime tonight?”




I nod, retrieving the smile that only gets painted when my artist is near me. “Go change, first.” His eyes widen, not expecting me to allow him to sleep over tonight. “I’ll be back fast, you go ahead and slip into something less… (His eyes scan over my body in pure lust) well just change, will you?” I laugh a little as he rushes to the outside.




I am glad that Harry has noticed that we both need to think farther, for a brighter future that holds us together. I only hope that by tomorrow, we would figure a final solution. Tomorrow… oh god, how did I forget? Desmond would be back in the late afternoon, which means there is less time to find a resolution. I kneel down on the ground, placing my two palms together and resting both my elbows on the edge of the bed.




I close my eyes, sighing before I begin my prayer: “God, I thank you for granting me the strength and patience so far, and I only pray for your help in my case. Please God, guide me to an answer for all my struggles, and let it be with no sense of harm to Desmond, Harry, my mother, and lastly I. I have faith in your power, and all I wish is to live my life, as I should. I need to build my life with Harry, I want to really. (I breathe, feeling a tear cascading down my right cheek) Thank you…”




…The Next Day (In the Afternoon)…




I sit in the living room, while accepting the teacup that Mrs. Higgins has brought me. “Mrs. Evelyn, I really don’t want to sound negative. But I could sense that you have been quite sad lately. I know I am just your employee, but please know that you can trust me if you wish to talk. You are far too smart, beautiful, and respectful to be feeling down.” I wave my hand to the empty seat on the couch, gesturing for the sincere woman to sit down.




“(I place my drink on the coffee table, sighing before talking) I didn’t notice that I was to obvious with my mood. I really feel that I have reached a phase where I am completely lost, Mrs. Higgins. I want salvation from all of the negativity in my mind, as much as I want to maintain everyone’s contempt in the process…” I feel a hand brushing my arm warmly, and once I look over I notice its hers.




“Mrs. Evelyn, you are practically in the age of my daughter. (She laughs lightly) That’s if I did got married and was granted children. (I smile at her, as she proceeds) My mother once told me when I was young, that I should always think of myself first, before anyone else. If I am happy, then everyone around me should be. You see, it’s all in what you sense and feel deep down. Your world revolves around your achievements and wellness, if not then it wouldn’t be a life of your own.”
