Forbidden Love
I'm Listening. (18th Chapter)
Evelyn's POV:

There he stands, draping one arm over the doorframe, making his body lean a little to the side. The loose waistband of his Pj’s pants exposes the V-cuts perfectly. His bare abdomen is carved in a healthy border, even though his skin is quite soft at touch. The tattoos trail over his body, exposing me to areas that I never seen before. His still feet are covered with white cotton socks, making him look like an innocent boy; which in contrast he isn’t at all.
“(He whispers) Will you let me in, or shall we talk outside for the rest of the servants to hear?” I roll my eyes, snapping his hand and dragging him quickly to the inside. I flick the lights on, eliminating the darkness; walking back to my bed. I sit down on the edge, crossing my arms; avoiding eye contact with Harry. “(I speak rigidly) You wanted to talk, so talk. I’m listening.”
Suddenly I feel something banging my head, making me scream. I look at the object, noticing it is just a soft pillow; but it drove me insane. Harry, on the other hand, chuckles at my reaction.“(I yell in whispers, darting daggers at him) How on earth did you allow yourself to do that?!” He shakes his head, walking closer; which makes me to scoot further. “(He raises his hands defensively) I just want to sit down, relax will you? And I threw that because you’re being so bossy and cold with me.”
Once I feel the bed dipping at his sit, I smirk like he always does; showing him that two could play the same game. “You’re a child that’s why.” He narrows his index finger at me, warning me with his voice:“Don't you dare call me a child! Because you're one yourself... Don’t just think that because you married my father, you get to be superior with me, Evelyn.”
I scold under my breath, snapping my head upwards. “You think I would respect you, after what you did with me?” I expected him to become furious, but he just laughed, sinking his eyes in mine more. “You liked it and you know it, stop denying that you feel the same way about me like I do.” I shake my head, refusing to agree. “No, this is where you are completely wrong. I don’t love you, Harry.”
His smile appears, like the sound of rejection was actually a positive thing for him. “(He smirks in victory) Who said anything about love?” Damn it, why did I have to say that word? I return to my silent treatment, but not for long, since I feel his hands resting on both my hips; forcing me to sit closer to him. His hands weren’t acting strong, they were surprisingly cautious with my waist hold.
“(He dips his forehead over mine, while our nose tips touch) Tell me right now, while looking at me, that you don’t want me. Tell me that you don’t love me, and I will leave you forever. (He breathes, fanning his peppermint breath over my face) Just tell me that this is wrong, and I shouldn’t be holding you close right now… I can’t stay away from you any longer, and you know that you can’t either.” I open my mouth to reply, but he shushes me directly with a quick peck on the lips. Instantly my lips react with his, as both our eyes close at the same time, savouring the moment built with the sinful lust we share for one another.
He departs his lips from mine slowly, and then opens his eyes. He smiles at me, as I flaunter my eyelashes to look at his perfectly carved dimples. “You see? You actually kissed me. You want this as much as I want it, and believe me pushing me away will never be a solution; it will only make both our sufferings larger.”
I tilt my head low, whispering what I shouldn’t have said: “Why do you love me, Harry?” His right hand leaves my waist, as his index finger lifts my chin up to look at him again. I feel his features being softer than ever, while his eyes portray the hidden passion he has for me.
Notes
I think that today, there won't be a huge need for me to explain anything major; just some minor points <3 :D Evelyn and Liam talked for the past two hours, about Harry and his personality. Liam also told her about how Harry's mother past away, which she did mention (Y) She felt attached to him, considering that she lost her father too a long time ago <3 Nevertheless, when Harry was mocking Evelyn while waving goodbye at Desmond, he was just teasing her because he could already sense that his feelings are a match to his <3
Questions for tomorrow: Mrs. Higgins is concerned? Harry is happy? Acting? Evelyn moving away from Harry? :O
