It's Complicated

I woke up and didn't feel like getting up. But then I realize it's Saturday meaning I have to go to Kim's and help her get everything ready. I changed into a plain white tee and into some jeans. I would get ready after finishing at Kim's.

"Im going to Kim's early be back later!" I yelled to my mom in her room.
"Ok!"

I park in front of Kim's house. I walk up to her house and knock. I hear footsteps and the door opens to a really stressed out Kim.
"Thank god your here I'm having a hair crisis"
"Come let's fix your hair" I say leading her to her room.
While Kim was busy changing and fixing everything upstairs Nao and I were fixing downstairs. I was putting out the food snacks and drinks.
"I think I'm finished in the kitchen, do you need help with anything else?"
"Yea can you set the pool stuff-"
"Already done"
"Ok then I think we're done"
"Ok so I'm going back home and get ready see you guys later"

I get home and quickly hop in the shower. I get dressed into my favorite black dress and black heals with my black leather jacket. I curl my hair and do makeup.
I hear the doorbell ring and know that it's Luke to pick me up.
I grab my purse and walk downstairs.
I tell my parents I'm leaving and greet Luke.
"Hey Gorgeous" he says looking at me from head to toe "you know that dress is going to attract a lot of the other guys attention"
"Yea but I'm only interested in one guy"
"Well that guy is tempted to take you out somewhere else away from everybody" he whispers in my ear with a smirk.

"I'd be up for that but Kim will kill me if I don't show up"

"Right...come on let's get going then" he sighs

I chuckle as he helps into his car.

We walk in and see people having shots, dancing, and in the pool outside having the time of their lives.

"I'm going to get us some drinks be right back" Luke says then pecks my lips.

"You made it" I turned to find a drunk Naomi.

"Are you drunk?"

"Maybe...just a little.. Are you mad?"

"No just try not to do anything stupid"

"No promises..hee-hee" after that I lost track of her the rest of the night.

I turned to the front door and saw Harry walk in with his friends. He saw me and walked over.
"You look amazing like always"he says leaning in to hug me.

"Hey didn't know you were coming"

"I didn't either until Kim invited me"

"Hey Harry" said a girl who's name I think is Amber. She was in my Physics class last year.

"Hey Amber" he says back with a smirk.

"I'll see you around Carrie"

"Ok"

Harry and I used to be so close. When he transferred from England I was the first friend he made here. Then came freshman year and he started to hang out with the other transfers who's names I think are Zayn, Niall, Louis, and Liam. Then he stopped hanging out with me.

"Was that Harry?" Said Luke handing me my drink.

"Yea he wanted to say hi and left"

"Oh ok"

"Do you want to dance?"

"Sure"

I pulled him close to me and started dancing to the beat.
I noticed he wasn't into it.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing.."

"Something's bugging you,what is it?"

"It doesn't matter lets just get back to dancing"

"ok "

We walk up my front porch and I can't help but ask "something was bothering you today what was it?"

"We can talk about it some other time"

"Now's fine"

"I'm moving..."

"My dad has set up to meet with some professional coaches to start on my pro football career... and it's the only time they are willing to give me"

"Where are you moving to?"

"New York"

"When?" I say holding back the tears forming in my eyes.

"We're scheduled to flight out Tuesday "

I just stood there trying to take everything in.

"Say something please"

"Im so happy for you" I said hugging him.

"I don't want to go"

"why"

"I don't want to leave you behind"

"This is a once in a lifetime thing, you can't miss it"

"I'll miss you soooooo much"

"Me too"

"I love you"

"I love you too"

I lean in and kiss him.

"We'll talk more tomorrow"

"Ok Goodnight" he kisses my forehead then leaves.

Once I'm alone in my room and make sure my parents are asleep I start to quietly cry myself to sleep.
