Louis doesn’t go to the gym often, but whenever he does Liam’s always there. Stick thin Liam with ribs that show through the spandex of his workout top and tiny skinny legs. Liam fascinates Louis but it’s a strange kind of fascination which is actually more like worry, he worries for the boy, hopes he has somewhere else to go, someone else to turn to. He thinks Liam must live at the gym sometimes because he always seems to be there. They talk occasionally, small conversations about weather and calories and scales and Louis kind of likes it. But one day Louis goes to the gym and Liam isn’t there. Louis begins to worry because for some reason he only went and read the obituaries that morning and please don’t let that Liam payne bloke be the Liam from the gym.
