Nine Days

Today is the last day of the exams and I’m writing an English paper. I hate it when my class has to write in the assembly hall, it irritates me to death. I’m in my last year at school, I don’t like being called a senior because in order to be called one you have to be able to rule the school.

I’m sitting a few seats from the back and I get the feeling that someone is watching me from behind. The feeling takes all my concentration away and I am unable to write a single understandable sentence.

I feel my body moving to see who it might be, but my mind stops me half way. For me to look back at my stalker would cost me to lose my already un-understandable test.

I’m kicked out of my thoughts when a teacher on the other side of the hall screams at a kid that was talking to his friends. He always talks to his friends so I am not surprised by the reaction he got from the teacher, but his face looks really surprised though.

The bell rings to give notice that exams are done and school is over for the next three weeks. I feel my insides getting excited to leave school and enjoy the vacation. But of course the teachers have multiple ‘important’ things to tell us before we get to leave. After what felt like half an hour, we are finally free to go.

I stand up and start walking to the door; I feel the familiar stalking feeling that sends chills down my spine. I choose to ignore it, but as always my body is doing the opposite. I look back and see him, it is the last person I would have ever suspected…it’s Harry.
