Something Stronger Than Love

ZAYN'S POV (2 days later)

Ever since the incident, everything has been different. Toni seems weird, different, and not a good different.

I took Toni in to get glasses a few minutes ago. She chose a pair that were big and black framed, like a classic nerd. She wanted to wait until we got to the farm to put on her glasses for some reason. I don't know.

I pulled up the dirt driveway to the farm, seeing the whole group there. Michael, Louis, Liam, Niall, Alexis, Violet, Paige, even Kyle and Jenna. But no Harry.

"The curly headed bitch isn't here again..." Toni sighed. I looked over at her, she had her glasses on. I guess that explains why she saw that Harold wasn't here.

"It's fine. Don't worry." I sadly smiled, hoping to brighten her mood.

She turned to me and snapped, "He hasn't been seen for three days! I'm sorry, but I have to worry!"

I hurt a little that she snapped, my eyes watered a little, but I wasn't crying.

She must've noticed, because she said, "I'm so sorry, I have anger issues."

"Since when?"

"Since I moved onto the farm..."

I nodded as we pulled into the driveway, and I parked. I stepped out at the same time as Toni, and we walked up to the rest of them.

"Hey!" Mikey said as he hugged Toni.

She smiled and hugged him back.

"We have a bit of a surprise..." Liam smiled at Toni, while she just looked confused.

Violet slowly revealed him. He made a sound, and Toni gasped, while he jumped and ran to her.

"Effey!" Toni yelled. I found this situation completely adorable.

Effey was freaking out, seeing his real owner for the first time in years. He made a monkey sound, hopping up onto her petite shoulder.

"It's really nice to see you guys back together." I said sadly.

Why was I sad, you may ask... Well, Effey and I were so close, the guys and girls even called us Zaffey (A/N: lol). It's sad to be splitting up. My heart kinda broke.

"Why are you sad?" Toni asked.

"I just don't want to part with him..." I mumbled, looking down.

She paused a moment, the busted out laughing. "You really think I would split you two up? You're still his daddy, I'll just be it's old new mother."

My heart put itself back together. "Really?"

She nodded. "Come on guys. We gotta practice. Only a day and a few hours until the show. We'll practice in the guest room, you can practice in the living room."

We all agreed, then split up.

PAIGE'S POV

All us girls were upstairs, practicing. The song we were doing this week was Superbass by Nicki Minaj.

Violet started the rap, her British accent showing out a lot more than usual.

Wait, she's british? We all had the same look on our face.

Alexis questioned, "What up with the Britishness?"

"My voice only sounds british when I rap, I don't know why."

We all raised our eyebrows in shock.

We shrugged, and she continued.

VIOLET'S POV

I really shouldn't agreed to do the rap. Ever since I was little, when I rap, I sound british. If only they knew...

We were on stage, the makeup girl was doing my makeup, while another, curled Toni's hair, and two other's did the girls makeup.

"I'm scared, this is really freaking nerve racking." Alexis panicked.

"Calm down. It'll be fine."

"Yeah, you've sang in front of a crowd plenty of times. Why is this so different?"

She gave us the 'duh' look, "We could get thrown out of the competition if we mess up. I've been waiting all my life for this, and if I screw up, I ruin it for us all."

"Lex, you won't mess up. You're like the best singer in the group." Toni said. Toni's so nice, we all know she's the best, but she tells Alexis that she's the best so she has confidence.

"No, that's you."Alexis laughed.

"But you're pretty damn close to being #1." Paige said.

Now, that was true.

"FOUR IS ENOUGH, UP NEXT!" They announced.

I looked at the girls, "Show time."


Outfits

ALEXIS'S POV

Violet said, "Show time."

She didn't look scared at all, and yet I was terrified. Paige looked neutral, and Toni looked like she was scared, and she looked worried. But she didn't seem scared about the show, it seemed like something else was getting to her.

We went into our places as the song started playing. Violet was up first.

We finished the song, and the crowd roared. This felt great, I loved it. The judges looked shocked, amused, a lot of emotions were written on their faces.

Louis Walsh spoke up first, "I am astounded. I really wasn't expecting that. That's not bad though. You have a great image, great voices, and you really work well together."

Dannii Monique said, "I have to agree, Cheryl, you did a great job coaching. And Toni, we all are aware of the incident, and it's amazing that you could come back from something so traumatizing. I'm amazed."

I looked at Simon, waiting for a response. Finally, it came.

"I won't lie, you guys are great together. I would like to hear more harmonizing though, and more from Toni." We looked at Toni, "I feel as if she's your strongest voice."

Toni shookd her head, she wouldn't agree to it, even if it was true.

Cheryl then began, "I agree with all of you, but you still aren't safe! Everyone needs to pick up the phone and vote. Keep Four Is Enough in the run!"

The crowd roared again, and we took that as a cue to leave.

We were waiting backstage for the guys to finish their song, and something weird happened. A girl with brown hair walked up to us.

"Hello, I'm Eleanor Calder." The name didn't ring any bells to me, but it sure did to Toni. She had a weird look on her face, as if she didn't sense a good vibe with her.

"Im Alexis. This is Paige and Violet, and Toni June, Louis's ex, and Zayn's ex." She and Eleanor shook hands.

"I've heard so much about you! And I'm so sorry about what happened. I'll always be there if you need me." Eleanor smiled.

She seemed extremely nice, I liked her. "So, I don't mean this in a rude way, but why are you back here?"

"Oh!" She laughed, "I'm Louis's girlfriend."

Girlfriend?! I thought he still felt for Toni?

"Oh... Well, we gotta run as soon as the guys finish up. I booked a date to find a manager." Paige said.

"Manager?"

"Yeah, even if we don't win, I still wanna keep going. A manager can help." She said matter of factly.

The crowd applauded, and the guys walked out here. Louis kissed Eleanor, then smiled at us. More like at Toni. Dafuq?!

Harry walked out of the building immediately. I don't really understand why, he just did.

"Guys, we gotta motor, the meeting's at 9. It's 8:30."

We waved to the guys, then ran outside to our vehicles. I looked for harry, but he wasn't there.

We sat in the waiting room, waiting to be called to the office of the manager.

Harry still hasn't been around any of us girls since Toni woke up. He only was around the boys when they had a concert. He learned songs by video chatting or only bwing with the guys for a short amount of time, then he disappeared for awhile.

"Ladies? Ms. Craig will be ready to talk in a few minites. Follow me." A lady appeared around the corner.

We all stood at the same time, wearing nice clothing. We followed her back a hallway, into a room on the right.

We all took seats, creating small talk.

"I really hope this goes well." Paige said.

"Me too. We need someone mature to take care of everything we can't." Violet spoke.

I shrugged, "We could do without a manager. We got Toni over here, she could take care of it."

We all looked at Toni, who hadn't spoken at all since we were on stage. She must be fazed by something.

We heard a door shut, and a redheaded lady about our age walked in. He kept her back to us the while she walked in, and then she set some papers on her desk. She looked at us, and freaked out.

"Alexis? Paige? Violet? Toni?" The lady sounded.

"Melissa?!" Toni screamed, creating sound for the first time in awhile.

So so sorry for no updates, I had the chapter ready, but no WiFi. But the next two chapters are already written, and damn, that plot twist in a few chapters.
