The Aftermath
In the morning, trees were down everywhere, making it look like every tree fell down. The powerlines were still under the tree, and Mr. Bennet's sons Mark, John, Daniel and Nathan were cutting off branches, trying to reach the lines. "Imma go help." Me and Harry, Zayn, and Niall all agreed to go. Louis stayed with Kaylee.
Nathan and me, Zayn and John, Niall and Mark, Harry and Daniel: those were the pairs. We worked all day, it felt like. Around 10:00 a.m., we anaged to get to half the lines. We worked on the other half. I gave up. "We have to call Someone but we can't. Unless.." I got out my cell phone. Yep. It didn't need powerlines. I called the electric company, and soon only me, Nathan, Mark and Daniel were helping them. I was sweating BAD. A line was stuck, holding a still-struggling bird. "Hold ion. Dont move anything yet." I reached down. The bird had a broken wing.
I untangled it. "Be right back." The worker and Daniel nodded. I came up to Kaylee. "Want a wild pet?" She shrugged. I told her, "Be careful. I fiund it like this by the tree, tangled in a line." Louis, Niall, Zayn, and Harry lokked at the bird as Kay gasped "Oh wow." The bird was looking at us. "Eh!" The bird tried to fly away. It got Niall once. We ended up telling ourselves that, since Niall's parrot likes other birds, we could hospitalize it there. Niall's bird must've kniwn it was injured cause it went easy with the bird. I eed to stop. It's a pigeon.
