New Boys

Hunter's P.O.V.
"Brynn? A date? With this Niall guy? I don't like this." I said to Caroline as we sat drinking our coffee at the diner. "Why? I thought you were ok with him. And as Brynn would say 'It's not a date!'" She said in a high-pitched voice. I laughed her a little. "I mean I wouldn't mind them dating-" "Then whats your problem?" "You didn't let me finish." I said smirking at her. "Go on then." She said with a butt load of sass. "Ok. Well I would like them to be friends a while longer, before they start dating. To ya know. Get to know each other. Figure out if they actually like each other. I don't know maybe I'm crazy." I said staring out the window. "No! I get it you don't want them to jump the gun and get hurt." She said holding my hand across the table." Ya exactly." I said smiling at her. I kissed the back of her hand. "I'd be lost with out you Caroline!" "Yes you would." We laughed and fell into a comfortable silence. Caroline was my best friend and as close to a sister as you can get. We did this every Thursday morning. We would have coffee at the diner. We were always picking on each other but had each others backs when it counted. We were there when needed. I was lucky to have her. At that moment two very familiar faces walked in. Caroline didn't see them since she was facing the other way. They saw me and put their fingers to their lips telling me to be quiet I slightly nodded to make sure Caroline didn't see. They came up and put their hands over her eyes. "Guess who!?!" "Emma! Miranda!" Caroline jumped up and hugged her cousins. Emma, Miranda, Caroline, Brynn and I were all the best if friends. But Miranda and Emma were in California on vacation. "Hunter!" They saidembracing me. "Hey girlies." I said. "How was California?" "Good!" They said. We contunued to talk about everything and anything. They were happy for Brynn when they found out that Niall and her are going on a date. And they mentioned the fact that in Cali their was some boy band that everyone is obsessed with. And there was some guy named Niall in it. But they couldn't remember anything else. I'll have to check into that some other time. Unfortunetly we all had to go but Emma and Miranda planned on coming to dunner tonight at Brynn and my apartment.
Liam's P.O.V.
"Ok! Niall stop worrying about it!" I told Niall over the phone. I was on a walk just checking out the city. "Goodbye." I hung up on him. He has veen stressing out over this date tomorrow. It's driving me crazy. As I walked I saw a little diner. It was cute, very different than where I come from. That's when I saw her. Caroline. I remembered her perfectly. She was beautiful. I couldn't stop thinking about her since I met her. She was with two other girls and a guy. The guy was sitting next to her and the girls were across the table. The girls were obviously sisters and it looked like they could be related to Caroline as well. But what bugged me was how close it looked like the guy was to Caroline. I really hope he's not her boyfriend. After a while they all came out Caroline was the only one who went thhe opposite direction from the others. I ran across the street to her. "Caroline!?!" I said acting surprised to see her.
Caroline's P.O.V.
"Caroline!?!" I looked to see Liam looking surprised to see me. "Hey! Liam, right?" I said acting like I didn't remember every inch of that beautiful face and muscles. Did I really just think that? Of course I did it's true. "Ya. So um how are you?" He asked. "Good. Great. How are you?" "Good! Ya I'm great."He said. "So I saw you with those people. Was that your boyfriend and friends or?" He asked. "Boyfriend! Oh no." I said laughing. A look of almost relief went over him. "He's my brother. And the girls were my cousins." I continued. I always introduce Hunter as my brother. "Oh. Your close with your family." "Very." I said smiling. He smiled as well. "Well um, I was wondering if maybe you would want to grab a coffee with me sometime?" He asked. "Would it be a friendly coffe or a more than friendly coffee." I asked with an eyebrow raised. "Well umm." He scratched the back of his neck nervously. "Whatever you wanted.?" It was more of a question than a statement. "Good answer." I said. He breathed out the breath he was holding. "How about we start off friends and then go from there." I said. "Deal." He said extending his hand, which i shook. We exchanged phone numbers. Of course putting in funny contact names. I put mine in as My Dittle Dirty Secret :P and he put his in as Mr. One and Only. I think this could work if I'm careful. This could work very well.
